never mind the guest of honor for the moment... by implication here, that mud hut village is wrong for living as they do. and before you try to wiggle around it by some such device as 'no because they don't know any better' that is the same statement just one step removed because it is still claiming that there is a moral wrong to what they do, they just aren't being held responsible until they are told. so, by what right do you claim that -anything- anyone in that village does is right or wrong? if you claim the authority of scripture, let him that is without sin cast the first stone. if you don't, i submit that any lesser one is just man against man, and therefore fail. and yes there are indeed things i would myself stop them from doing if i could, genital mutilation and the like, and i have no more 'authority' to stand on than you do, i still would stop them, but polyamory is not even in the same ballpark. nor can you say 'wrong is wrong' to answer it because if you did i'd have to execute you for speeding.

well, yeah, i get that you don't like her. as it happens, i do, so far, but that's neither here nor there to what i asked. i still think it would be interesting to hear a rational defense of your making any determinations of what is morally appropriate for the mud hutters, especially concerning sexual behavior, which has to have been made for them to be used as a comparison with anyone else's morals or lack of, and that question would remain valid even if the very sight of her name filled me with homicidal rage. as for respect of self, only i get to define what respecting myself means, and only Jig gets to define what respecting herself means. respect of others is a valid point but in that case only i get to define what i think constitutes that, and ditto for you, so any agreement we have about it may be convenient and any disagreement we have may be inconvenient but in an eternity of discussing it neither is likely to much singlehandedly affect the other's view in that facet of respect. but simply for information's sake i will say that a person's own motive must be considered first and of more weight than any other thing, though not the sole factor, as i also feel one is responsible to a certain limited extent to take unintended effects upon others under advisement.

Seriously I enjoy myself. I liek my image in the mirror. I look rather cute. I make a point of saying "Hello beautiful" to myself every morning. Now that is absolotely NO lie.

Scylla like mirrors too. And she is easy on teh sl eye. After all, she is my sister. It's her saving grace.
