That's a great way to look at it....as long as it works all directions, and applies to everyone. I suspect that my 55 to 65 year old woman hypothesis touched a nerve. I typed up a random thought that popped into my head....and looked at it, and said whooaa....that is so bizarre, so judgmental, so annoying and so RUDE! But hey! That's the way Jig posts! Actually, given her response, I am not really sure it hit a nerve more than any other comments. I think that is one of the reasons I like Jig -- though I do not always like what she says or how she says it -- her carefree attitude keeps her from getting her panties in a bunch very often over things that are said in the forums. While she rambles a lot, she seems to actually need to 'vent here' quite a bit less than most of us.

just seemed like it is ok, and should be defended, for one person to toss out what might be viewed as an attack or judgment....but not ok, for others. Or....if others are to use the same style of presentation.....a rather harsh judgment call, without defense.

Yep, being critizied for apparently doing the same. I guess it all depends what group you live in if its ok or not.

Do a search on your own posts,Love. I guarantee most of them have been about Pep and your crusade against him in the past few months. I have seen so many of you hypocrites go after him time and time again for no reason. I have seen so many of you go after perfect strangers with such vengeance for posting stupid surveys. Give me a break. Your postings look no better than his at this point.

No single comment really hit a nerve with me, it was more a general feeling of "bunches ganging up on someone". Whether that perception was right or wrong, it was that feeling that hit a nerve for me. Jig is very harsh at times, but I see her judgemental comments as more generalized -- "folks that do this are warped or I just don't get it" type things. I don't really recall Jig ever going all out on a single person to say they are bad. Whereas, in this thread I saw a lot of what seemed to be very personal judgments that "Jig is bad cuz or x, y, and z".

Well, the "bunches ganging up" on someone in particular is probably a result of so much personal, in-depth information being tossed out. It gives plenty of fodder. Based on the response style, the thread discussion generally revolves around Jig, and she generally steers it that way. I've responded to Jig in a number of threads....asked questions to understand....even pushed and prodded....but rarely get a comment back that implies she wants to understand anything about anyone else, in return. And I don't think it's in bad form to talk around her, and suggest that.....as she has mentioned several times, herself, that it needs to revolve around her.

There are times when I think that tossing out a "generalization" is a going to get you into a heap more trouble than just singling someone out, one on one. You're going to have a ton of people come back at you! Rather than just one.

Jig,why would anyone be envious of you? Because you screw anything that moves, your lies or because of your selfish all about me attitude?

I have seen "bunches" of others attacking a new poster for only asking a question. At least they have stopped the "look it up idiot" attacks.

If its ok for Jig to be harsh, why isn't it for others? If she generalizes it so what, she knows that a lot of people will take it personally. I think that must be her purpose in life, to rile people up. Sometimes its hard for people to drop their baggage at the door like she tells them too. Maybe it hit a nerve, a bad experience in their real life. I do believe that she has gone after me in this thread. Doesn't really matter who started it, she eggs it on by her snide remarks.

I have tried to be kind to her many times, she simply ignores it. I really don't care if she is a 95 year old or and 18 year old, but common sense has left the room with her.

I am going to go back through my posts. I don't think I have ever just let loose and called people names on the forum. At worst I might have thought something they said on the current topic is totally wrong or misguided. I suppose this might come off as holier then thou. I don't mean it that way. I just see threads degenerate into this so much lately and finally decided to comment on it.

I really don't understand this back and forth accusations stuff. I actually take each thread individually and don't really even remember anything that hurt my feelings after probably a week at the most. I certainly don't keep a tally sheet. Of course I haven't had anyone actually target me. I guess that might make a difference.

If I was angry enough at someone to want to call them names I would want to do it av to av where I knew they were hearing me. I just can't get that worked up over opinions in the forums.

I was there reading it. If they went around someplace other then there I saw it all. Definitely he egged her on, but she took the bait. I didn't care for what happened, and I wish he would have really shut up about the thing. I am pretty sure that she knew his friend had cancer and that it was going to rub him the wrong way. Which reminds me, I need to call my brother, he does have cancer. Real life effects us all in here, just saying. Somehow I wish I could protect them all, even Jig and Pep... First I would like to slap her silly though. She only wants certain friends, the ones that agree with and protect her. Not the ones that try to set her on a better road.

She made a huge mistake with me, she called it the 3 C's instead of the correct 4 C's. My feathers are still ruffled over that one. J/K Now how stupid was it telling me that when I said "diamonds do fade". She just doesn't get that "people" are more important then her sex life and material things. Love and friendship is what life is about. If she doesn't learn that soon she is going to lose out in a big way. That is what we have been trying to tell her, but she skips that part because she won't get her negitive response so a few can jump in and protect her. To me their crimes are the same, they just do them in a different way.

I shuddered when she said those things about her 56 year old friend....
