Wow Mickey how wrong you are. But I wont play out the game that I am allowed of anonymity. Besides, I have left enough clues if you look closely through my years. But I am what I am and not a pretence. I am a persona but then I am also a persona in what I do in real. My name is actually real. Jig is my pet name given me by my parents when I was a kid coz I was a "jig" in more ways than one. I have never beena cleaning lady - though your are right I have had them work for me. I use a personal assistant. I have never had "quiet" fame - not sure what that is, really. You cant be famous quietly.

I wonder what kind of private education Jig had. Her spelling and grammar are atrocious. Or is that just one of her less than endearing little habits? Wherever it was they should have sacked the English teacher.

In a previous thread I'm sure she said she no longer lived in the US but lives in a gated community??? Can't think of an awful lot of them in UK..............unless she was in the super star category which somewhow doesn't ring true.

And no I'm not jealous of what she says she has, does not have, or the fact that she has put out to around 500 men. Most people who have a lot in reality don't usually find the need to boast about it. God knows when she finds the time betweeen Hal, all her travelling, posting on the forums and leading a RL.

I can put the duct tape away this time. Are people that bored, or petty, to want to go through all Jig's past postings to look for every little inconsistengy? Yeah, she can be provocative, rude, arrogant, judgemental, self centered and just plain annoying. That's no secret. If these things bother you, it's pretty easy to avoid them, like Scylla said. But instead, people here seem to take her to task for those things, by doing the exact same thing to her.

On this forum, we all post -- of necessity -- using our in-world avatar identities. And as we all know, there is every chance that there is in fact a difference between the identities that we assume in-world, and our RL "selves."

Jig makes virtually no distinction between her SL identity and what she says is her RL one. Her age, occupation, gender, sexual predilections, etc., etc., as she asserts them here, are in fact PART of her SL identity. Poking through old posts, searching for inconsistencies, speculating about her identity (I mean the serious speculations: I rather fancy the idea that she's Elton John myself) all come dangerously close to a violation of the ToS: the fact that you are trying to discover and, in effect, disclose RL info about her here, rather than in-world, makes no difference.

Jig could be a genetically-modified alien-impregnated Komodo dragon in RL: it's none of our business. You have no more right to question her or probe for the supposed "truth" than you do trying to spy out real-life info about ANYONE in SL.

exactly. people are entitled to their own opinions and feelings about it, but to me, anything about someone's RL has zero bearing at all on how i relate to them in SL. for all i care they can say they are a 22 year old starlet in RL today and a 47 year old balding tax assessor tomorrow and i care not one whit, it's who they are in SL i am relating to unless i am going to engage with them in RL. moreover they can do exactly the same here in SL and i still care not one whit, i knew someone once and i have no idea who or what this person was in RL, but in SL when i first met them they were an attractive female 20-something, and about a week later the same name appeared in the same location as a hunky 30ish male. i IM'd and asked when the female av might be free again, and about an hour later, she was. i'm not here to experience reality, i'm here to get as far away from it as i can for as long as i can. that said, i'm not in the least opposed if someone does choose to share their RL here but that is their choice, i know exactly who and what my partner is but only because she chose to share with me.

Wow, I sure did learn a lot about the personalities and attitudes of many of my fellow forumites in this thread -- and I am most definitely not impressed.

Unless you yourself are perfect in every way, you have no business attacking or judging others.

Scylla....Jig knows exactly where a thread like this will go, if she words it a certain way, and if she responds a certain way. She's had enough practice. She's laid all the supposed RL info on the table in almost every thread. The outcome is generally always the same.

It's an opportunity for attention and armchair psychoanalysis, and to further the persona. She is well aware of this. Seems that she welcomes it, and it seems to serve a purpose. What is "obsessive" is to keep doing it over and over again, with the same result. But no problem with that. Some people like to talk about the ethics of keyword stuffing over and over again, with the same result.....and some people like to have their personas analyzed over and over again, with the same result.

Equal opportunities here - it seems pretty fair. If you start a thread on the use of keywords in search....you will most likely get your ethics and morals winkled out, during the course (or at least an attempt).....and if you start a thread making a sweeping generalization with some judgments toward the population, then insert a ton of RL info....you're going to see an attempt to get it all winkled out, as well. This is not new news. I suppose that the new "conversation manager" will put an end to "winkling." But that will be a sad day for Jig.
