I forgot that would make sense.
Although I wish I could move under the downtown old unused underground area of Seattle during summer where its nice and dark.

FD..check into room darkening curtains.. they are great for keeping the heat out. A little on the expensive side, but well worth the money. I don't have to use the AC in the bedrooms as much since getting them.

And are you going to wear your new rez day prezzie trenchcoat? :)
Nope, I'm all elegance tonight. Nice pair of black pants, smart black shoes, and a dark red silk shirt. ;)

Seattle sort was like that but we had more rain and clouds.
It was really rare if we got 90 degrees or higher in summer time, nor did we need air conditioning.
Now we get it.
Also there never was 75 degree days in spring until recent years.
I think perhaps its because we have less trees in the area that we use to have around Seattle.
Places I grew up in area near here use to have many acres of trees, they all were clear cut about 6 years ago or more.
Anyway I hope Trout and those sun loving Seattle folks are enjoying the sun.
I hope I can sleep with this sun without waking up with migraine today.

You may be right about the trees, but I don't know, FD. The last two summers haven't been very impressive. We had cool, overcast weather most of the time and a lot of rain. We still haven't seen a decent run of days this years, and a lot of the berry crops are coming in really late because of it. The sun just hasn't come out much and the temps seem to be way down. I've been here since 1988, and these last 2-3 years have been the worst I've seen.

Of course, I only live in Olympia - you big city folks may get different weather than we do out here in the sticks. :p

It was miserable here 90 degree weather in the city It got up to the 100s last summer.
All the concrete makes things brighter, being by the water too makes things extremely bright.
It makes me wish I could move to nice dark, damp forest but I can't.
Anyway maybe things are cooler in Olympia but here the weather gets pretty intense.
Take care all going to crawl into my coffin.... I mean bed.

We're onto weather now?

It's a bit hot here, but the biggest trouble has been a brush fire to the north, with winds blowing all the smoke right into my sinses. Icky poo!

final PSE to all Vampires and creatures who want to move somewhere dark....
Seattle is no longer gray, cloudy, rainy and dark year round it is a myth....
Don't move to Seattle, you won't find any dark places here unless you find access to the underground areas.
/FD logs out until the sun goes away.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

That gives me an idea. I'm going to start up a Night Things Migration Service. Every fall, black cargo planes with no windows will fly to a village in northern Sweden. There, our clients/residents will enjoy the long, dark arctic nights. In the spring, the fleet of black aircraft will return, and fly everyone south to Tierra del Fuego.

Sign up now, space is limited!

If it has no windows, how would the pilots see? :D

If anyone wants to see that "Passed Out Drunk" skin I mentioned yesterday, you can see it on my Flickr page, I just took some photos. It's transferable, but no copy, so let me know and I can pass it to you to borrow if you ever need it for something special. Comes in a few skin tones, although I already tossed one of the darker tones because I knew I'd never wear it.

It's on the 1st and 2nd pages.

Oh or, you can join the Rosemar group. It cost $250L, but they are always giving away free stuff, good stuff. The skin is in the notices now.

Hi everyone! I've been so busy with RL stuff that I've barely been inworld or on the forums for the last several weeks. I'm off from work today so I might as well join the race for 20,000.
