Goddamn! It just occurred to me what my first serious project in SL is going to be. I've been goofing around building aircraft. Why hasn't it occurred to me to take a shot at a Mohawk!!?? It's a fairly simple design. The nose looks the hardest, but I should be able to pull it off. I even know where I can bum a little space to build it so I don't have to get griefed in a public sandbox!

the story you posted was really nice to read, Trout.

how many prims do you need, and for how long?

saw you all were discussing shoes, I am so in love with my new shoes I just have to post a pic (and sadly no, I did not make them, they are available at a place called J's)
(I soooo want to learn how to do sculpts myself so I can make toes, then make prim toe shoes!!)

 I just added up my bill for today at Armidi....6 pairs of shoes....3 trenchcoats.....6 sweaters....5 pantsuit outfits....right around $6,000L. But I do love it so.

The damage would have been worse if the place wasn't so crowded.

good lord woman, I am lucky to have those kind of sales in a week, let alone from one person in one day

come shop at my place :p

Hey, what happened to the shoes? I thought we were talking about shopping!

Guys... always talking about their toys....
(umm, that was a quip about the HUGE pics, not the father stories. Happy belated Father's Day to all dads)

:D

No! We were talking about shoes. And whipped cream.

I really should be working but here I am in my whipped cream birthday suit. No children allowed (well, I did cover all my cat related bits :D )

Those look really great. I have shoes by X2 that also have toes and manicures that look very much the same but these may outdo the X2's by a small margin. The X2's have a built in AO as well and cost $700L, and have like I don't know, 15 manicures? Love them.

these have the touch control to tint of the toes, and nail polish and the toe rings
(edited to fix this, wrong info, not a hud, but touch control)

um I think they were like 400 or 350 can't remember

one sec I will put a slurl here for the place

http://slurl.com/secondlife/TSUKISHIMA/206/201/22

I actually found the place through a blog that will be blogging my store as well

the blog is

I just went over there. I forgot I just bought some wedge sandals there with a toe option, but strangely that shoe didn't look as good as that high pump. In fact I was rather disappointed with the toes the wedge had. Too squared off, but I love the shoe. Was that photo your foot or the photo from the ad? If the ad, I think you need to look at the actual foot of the avatar. The ad for the shoe I purchased looks fantastic, but my foot not so much.

The X2 shoes on the other hand, look great on your feet.

At half time in the crucial Euro 2008 match, it's Austria 0-0 Germany, shoe fans.

Max, I know just enough about golf to have thoroughly enjoyed that story. Even if I didn't, the way you told it was fantastic! Thanks!

I hate golf, but just the fact Max was that close to HIM is making me swoon.....

I take it back about the J's shoes and the toes not looking good. Just met up with Rha there and tried my shoes on again. Seems they look just fine now. Must have been a bad borky day when I bought them because my toes look like, well nicely well shaped toes now in them.

Go on a shopping spree girls :)

I have no idea how they pulled that off at all but the red shoes are very cute. The toes in that look like our normal square toes :(

Only if you let me recount the tale of how King Juan Carlos of Spain bought me a beer at a yacht club in Palma de Mallorca

Rha - how does one get the blogger to check out your place and decide if they think it worthy of mention? I looked for contact info but did not see any.

I can understand where your Dad's heart was. My older brother, who is back in Afganistan now, is an A10 Jockey, which looks like it's a descendant of that Mohawk.
