/me has the feeling he missed something really, really important.

Not exactly. Maybe you could point me in the direction of whatever it was that was provided. I have a feeling I don't want to miss it.

But I still am if you look at my Flickr page. Link is a couple of pages pack, or I'm sure you can find it quite easily...

I didn't get home until late - Father's Day. It's always a little depressing. It's a chance to remember my father who passed away a couple years back and a chance for my ex-wife to tell me what a horrible father I am and how if I were a real father I would... blah, blah, blah.

At least I get to see them and spend the day hanging out. Now I'll just buckle down and move on with my week.
I know where you are coming from, my dad died last August and I have tried very hard to avoid the Father's day stuff both IRL and here on the forums, not only because it is the first Father's day since he passed on but also because I did not want to put a crimp in anyones Father's day celebrations.

I'm good for space. When I build - which isn't often because I'm awful at it, I use a friend's sky platform. She has plenty of prims to spare, and I only need them while I'm building - I clean up after myself. Also, Max has graciously volunteered his platform as well. It should be an interesting project. I've got to keep the prims down to make it flyable - at least across sim borders. I think I can do the whole plane in three prims.

Just kidding. I really haven't figured out a budget for prims yet. I've been puzzling over the nose. It's sort of bulbous. The Mohawk was a two seater, so I don't have to worry about anything aft of the cockpit.

This is WAY more interesting than work.

well, if you need a super secret spot, let me know. i'll give ONLY YOU access to a 512 that is vacant (at least it will be when i buy it LOL)

Connery: Ach! Ya (TABOO EUPHEMISM FOR CAT RELATED AND US/UK APPROVED EUPHEMISM)!!

Herzog missed his eagle putt through giggling, but nabbed the birdie. And played like an utter tit for the rest of his round.
Great story! And you are a great story teller! And we should mention that tit is a kind of twittering bird in the U.K.

... It's one of the few times I saw my dad tear up. I've always been very thankful to them for that. I think they are a division of Boeing now (they might have been then as well). They really made a difference in the life of one veteran.
Another great story by another great story teller!

From: Trout Recreant
... My dad crashed one and got a purple heart, then landed one that was in flames and barely able to fly - essentially, he crashed it on the runway. They ordered him to ditch it, but his co-pilot was unconscious in the seat next to him, so he had a "radio failure" and "didn't hear" the order to ditch the plane. The co-pilot ended up surviving.
Wow! Your dad was a hero! And I'm not using that in the way they often seem to today when they mean "victim".

From: Max Herzog
Only if you let me recount the tale of how King Juan Carlos of Spain bought me a beer at a yacht club in Palma de Mallorca
He he. I bet it's good.

From: Brenda Connolly
I can understand where your Dad's heart was. My older brother, who is back in Afganistan now, is an A10 Jockey, which looks like it's a descendant of that Mohawk.
If you get a chance, Brenda, please thank him for me.

I'm sorry for your loss, Gabriele. It is very hard to lose your dad while you are still young.

I know it's silly, especially in the context of SL, but the idea of buying shoes with toes attached gives me the Willies. :p

@Kaimi...Already done, yesterday. Thank You. :)

You don't know what's under the toenail polish. Maybe it's five little willies. Gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "foot-job".

Seriously the idea of shoes with toes might sound weird but is that really more weird than having a block of wood for feet? I have often felt like Pinocchio must have before Gipetto got around to finishing off the last of the carving :( Really nice nails on a block of wood is weird in my opinion.

We are in danger of sliding of in to a Lovecraftian scenario here and then I am afraid I will have to eat you Trout!

If I knew how to make prim toes, all my shoes would have prim toes and non prim for anyone who buys them (I dislike the cost more for prim toes, but that is the way it is)

I hear you Rhaorth but the shoes at J's are not anymore expensive than normal shoes. I will tell you what is over priced, their competition - yes that's right there is another place that sells toed shoes but theirs are L$800 per pair. I looked at them before deciding that it was too much for a set of tootsies!

I would expect someone will create a set of full perm toes to be used as the basis for shoes soon enough - it happened with sculpty shoes and it will happen with toed shoes too.

Re: Greenies, I was just there, admittedly very briefly, and didn't notice the dance floor in the kitchen. It was there last time I was there, but it might be gone now...Or i might just have missed it.
