/me eyes Soji askance...

And all this time I thought you were a cute lil kitty. If I was in the business of doing male slut ratings, you'd definitely get a raise out of that one. So to speak.

wait, what was I writing? I just meant to note that I do not desire to see naked men. They make me start writing erotica while drinking wine and listening to Kenny G. I could live with all of that except for the Kenny G.)

Nobody should have to live with Kenny G

Catch-up again, typing in a coffeehouse as I'm on the road. Let's see if I can remember:

Didn't like Catcher In The Rye at all.
Lula says she is leaving thread but comes back after all.
Brenda's playing with rope again.
Lil gets new TV.
Oryx visits Osaka.
Soji said something naughty.
Soji said something naughty.
Soji said something naughty.

Sorry, got fixated there on the throbbing... *ahem*

Remember to put a lot of angst into opening the jar. The cool kind. She likes that.

(pretend you are Shatner, and the jar contains Khan within it)
Lol!

I know it's bad form to admit it, but I thought Borat was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a long time. It definitely is crude and tasteless, and smug leftists shold probably avoid it for it's outrageous political incorrectness, but it makes me laugh hysterically in spots. The unused scenes on the DVD are just as funny.
I thought it was hilarious. I was afraid he was going to get killed at the rodeo, though.

Heya guys. Hows it going?

I'd catch up, but I'm too freaked out to concentrate. I just finished watching the original japanese version fo The Grudge. I promised myself I'd never watch it again - I failed :(

I'm just gonna sit here, with my back against the wall and keep an eye out for any ghosts, If I disappear and don't turn up soon, it means my flatmate has caused me to have a heart attack by making that noise again...

Anyone got any happy distractions? Apart from Soji writing erotica and listening to Kenny G of course :p

Go watch Saw, Saw II, Saw III, and Saw IV all in one sitting. You will have seriously fucked up dreams. Maybe it'll distract you from The Grudge. :D

meh. I saw Saw and wasn't impressed. I like a story line rather than just a series of people getting ripped apart or pulling themselves apart. I can watch all the bloody horror I want and be fine, but the minute ghosts come into it I'm screwed for days.

The series is one long plotline. Granted, it's gory, but not as stupid as, say, Friday the 13th.

Not seen Friday 13th.
I'll get around to watching all the Saw movies, its just the first one really didn't do anything for me. Mum has them on DVD I think, I'll borrow them at some point. Though I don't think I'll be able to watch them all in one sitting lol.

I've decided to blog and read to distract myself til its light - then I'll sleep since I have no classes tomorrow lol.

Lula and anyone else -- including guys -- that love authentic cultural costumes -- these are fabulously done, normally sell for L$1600 each and are on sale for L$100 each as a fundraiser for Haiti:

There is a landing point set, so definitely look for your red beacon to guide you. You'll find the outfits outside the store in the front courtyard area. There is a donation jar by the outfits.if you would like to donate more.

Oh geez... I went back and read what I wrote and it did sound like I was leaving the thread! I meant leaving for the night! Send me back to English comp classes! I was just happy to hit 333 (one of my favorite numbers.) I won't be happy again 'til I reach 444. ;)

Nobody knows better how to get me to part with Lindens than Lil! Thanks Lil!

ETA: Lil... is that hair available there as well? I am gonna load up the Lindens tonight just in case.

It is a super bonus about the money going to Haiti so thanks for info on the tip jar as well!

I can suggest some older films:

Children Shouldnt Play with Dead Things, directed by the same guy who directed "A Christmas Story".

Shriek of the Mutilated- a low budget flick about Big Foot, Cannibalism, and supposedly a snuff film (not true tho).

Hell of the Living Dead- a fun Italian Zombie movie.

the original Dawn of the Dead. Classic.

the Hellraiser series.

Dawn of the Dead series.

Blood Sucking Freaks

Anything produced by Trauma.

And anything with Spain's best Horror Actor- Paul Naschy :D

I usually avoid horror movies past 1985-89, as thats when the MPAA took notice of the violence & gore during the "rape" scene in Roger Corman's "Humanoids From the Deep" and started to censor what they could show in horror films.

And for a movie that is guaranteed to offend just about everyone: Postal.
Ewe Boll may make some sucky movies, but I laughed SO hard at this movie. It was just SO wrong in SO many ways!! :D

ooo Tod, are they all zombie/vamp flicks? I'll have to look out for them, Me and my flatmate are on a bit of a roll with the zombies.

Because I liked Brain Dead and Evil Dead 2 (Gonna go for the others fairly soon) so much, he's got me watching a few others. I think the latest one was Dead Snow - norwegian film, about killer Nazi Zombies lol. Total awesomeness.

Also, one of the guys wears a Brain Dead T-Shirt in it. Ultimate movie reference ever!

Um, yeah.

What's the point of watching a horror movie without a good "rape" scene in it, eh?

ignore all but the loving sensitive love scenes. Ignore the ignorant sexist rape scene ones... ignore is a great feature on the forums... once you identify those who violate your sense of right and oh so wrong.

LOL

Hi Lula!

(Yeah, I prefer the horror movies where the psychotic killer / zombie lord / vampire king is redeemed at the end, usually through an orchestrated meeting with his dear long-lost mother, who chides him gently, and takes him home for a nice bowl of chicken soup.)
