@Maureen - thanks!

Hey, I don't know what the four-picture thing was all about that you guys did before, but after I bought two skins from Milla Alexandre's new store, I wanted to try it too:

Clockwise, from upper left:
My usual skin, from Zullay Thor (no longer in business)
Dolly 1 and Evaline 3 from Milla Alexandre (Sabijha)
Sylvan Pixie from Hybrid

Same shape and eyes in all four pics.

/me runs in and waves to all. No time to catch up, so don't know if this has been announced, but Spork is closing Feb 15th. Everything in the store is marked down to 50L or less.

Ok, I really do hate to be the one spreading rumors, however this is big news. I've just been informed that Weston may not actually be a beagle.

I'm guessing schnauzer.

How dare you! Photoshop and I have been together since version 2.0. I know, I know... Photoshop does have an evil learning curve but once you get to know Photoshop... you will love Photoshop. (PM me if you have questions... I might be able to help.) :)

When I get something in my head that I want to build, I usually check out XStreet to see if anyone else has made it first. Sometimes, when someone has made an okay version but I think I can do better, I go ahead and give it a shot anyway - like my bagpipes, for example. But sometimes, someone has done such a good job that I just go ahead and buy it and enjoy it.

This is one of those times.

It drives! It flies! It floats on the water! And it makes...the famous engine sound! The lights can even be turned on and off! It's....pure awesomeness inside total win wrapped in woot. That's the only way to describe it.

Aww thanks for the help! I may just take you up on that offer one day but not tonight because my eyes are buggy. I can sorta get the result that I want but I know it's probably not the easiest way to do it, plus I know that I'm making destructive edits and there are better, non-destructive ways to do things that I just haven't quite mastered yet. I always try to learn things the "proper" way and the theory behind it, but like so many things in life, there are a million ways to do something in PS. My problem is that I don't really have the fundamentals down and although I can find various online tutorials for a very specific purpose, if I want to deviate from them, it kinda goes downhill lol. I know I'll never have the patience or the time to be a pro but I'd like to get a better handle on the basics. I bought this big huge PS book that I've been reading a bit of every night before I go to bed ... I'm such a geek!!! :p

Go rest your weary eyes for now... destructive edits are frustrating! I always use layers to avoid permanently ruining a file. Drag the background layer down to the bottom of the layers palette to make a copy (Background copy) and then uncheck the original background layer to preserve it... if you mess up the copy... you still have the original and can start over.

You are not a geek... or should I say... if you are so am I!
