*Whips off her pants and waves them in salute. Have yourself a Merry, you redneck...I hope Santa is good to your little girl. To all the threadies, best Holiday wishes.....if you are one of thoe who get offended by being wished a Happy Holiday, too bad, deal with it. I will go offline tomorrow until Jan 3rd, as is custom when I go on vacation, I don't do any internet stuff, so I will also put up a Congrats in case the odometer hits 100K while I'm gone. I also have a feeling that LL might use the New Year as the time to axe this venue, so there may not even be a forum to return to. Take care hon! Happy Holidays, and a most joyous New Years! *huggles* |

They are working toward an Avengers movie. We have Captain America and Thor in the pipeline as solo movies, then the group movie. Maybe they will follow comic history and have the Avengers form in order to stop the Hulk. _____________________

I was kind of hoping for the Hulk to be in this movie because there are no Hulk movies in the works right now as far as I know.
They are working toward an Avengers movie. We have Captain America and Thor in the pipeline as solo movies, then the group movie. Maybe they will follow comic history and have the Avengers form in order to stop the Hulk. Angel and I watched "Hulk,"The Incredible Hulk," and "Iron Man" in a two day span. We talked about that as a possibility as well as Bruce Banner gaining more control over his alter ego and joining with the Avengers in a future movie. I have not looked inot the Thor movie since March, at that time it was just an idea as was the Captain America film. The fallowing supports your Avengers Vs. Hulk movie... Samuel Sterns, played by Tim Blake Nelson, was introduced to set him up as a villain in a future film, where he would become the Leader.[16] Nelson hopes Marvel will ask him to reprise the role.[93] Aaron Sims, the lead designer on The Incredible Hulk, also took time to work on concepts for the Leader.[94] Nelson is signed on to reprise the role.[95] Gale Anne Hurd noted because the Leader is a cerebral villain, it would allow them to reinterpret the Hulk himself.[96] Ty Burrell wants to portray the superpowered Doc Samson faithfully to the comics.[95] Norton said, "The whole thing was to envision it in multiple parts. We left a lot out on purpose. [The Incredible Hulk] is definitely intended as chapter one."[4] Leterrier made the film's final shot of Banner ambiguous; the thought being if there is a sequel, it would mean Banner finally masters control over his anger; if there is not a sequel, the shot indicates instead that in the scheduled 2012 feature The Avengers, he becomes a menace.[97] Leterrier had also intended for a scene in the credits showing Blonsky, human once more, imprisoned and chained in a box.[98] Leterrier and Roth are contracted to return. Leterrier also stated Norton was not signed on,[99] but in October 2008, Hurd stated he was contracted to reprise the role.[96] The film has outgrossed its predecessor and Universal indicated interest in a sequel.[100] However, by July 21, Leterrier believed a sequel would not be made because of the film's box office return. Leterrier is confident that the character will appear in The Avengers, even if Marvel does not ask Norton to fulfill his contract.[101] Kevin Feige said the film met Marvel's expectations and that Hulk will return, but after the crossover.[102] Hurd is not concerned that a sequel may not be produced until at least 2012, citing the positive reception to the film and having produced the Terminator series, the second and third film of which had a 12-year gap.[96] Tim Roth has confirmed that Marvel has signed him for three more films.[103] Leterrier, after having previously said he did not want to direct a sequel, said in late 2009 he had changed his mind and was now amenable.[104] On November 2, 2009, Edward Norton stated in an interview with MTV that he does not know about any future plans for Hulk, saying with a laugh "I will probably find out after you do. Nothing new."[105] _____________________

One more Sleep Till AVATAR
12-17-2009 19:27
OO OO OOO O One More Sleep Till AVATAR hits the screen Woot!!!!
Reviews of AVATAR are pouring in even though the movie's not due for release until this Friday. Here's a roundup of some of the best reading so far: /Film dwells on Avatar's technical aspects before giving it an 8 of 10. Times Online promises the final battle scene will get the sickly taste of Return of the Jedi out of your mouth for good, while Hollywood & Fine lauds "the most dazzling film experience you'll have this year." Meanwhile Eye for Film calls it "at once thoroughly alien, and utterly believable." Hollywood.com calls Avatar's plot "maddeningly derivative," it still praises the film as "a truly astounding piece of filmmaking," and Australia's Urban CineFile adds that Avatar "pivots on romance." Sci-Fi Movie Page gives it 3.5 stars and says Avatar "gives new meaning to the phrase 'eye candy,'" while Emanuel Levy writes that audiences who just want wall-to-wall excitement will be deeply satisfied. Finally, Roger Ebert, the Big Kahuna of mass-circulation movie reviewing, writes "There is still one man in Hollywood who knows how to spend $250 million, or was it $300 million, wisely." Bonus: GQ's Jason Gay saw the movie but is "embargoed" from writing about it yet; so he wrote that Avatar is actually a musical about the construction of the New Jersey Turnpike during the 1950s and goes off the rails from there. http://avatar.typepad.com/?fbid=qw-04M9Lvn0 http://www.avatarmovie.com/ Cant wait till this thread dies *giggles* |

I know you folks who get way too much snow in your neck of the woods often don't look forward to the white stuff, but it's supposed to snow here this weekend, and I am VERY excited. ![]() NO MORE UNI!!!! ![]() ![]() ...and we have SNOW!!! hehe bit excited now... hehe...did I make it? 97,000 ![]() Oh, definitely true. BUT. you know. The life you build when young, those experiences, can make your entire subsequent life (and your capacity to ENJOY that subsequent life) "bigger", you know? So shhhh. I'm trying to get Claire to make her RL, now and later, hugely enjoyable! 'cause i likes her. ![]() Ok... Guys, I know this is TMI but I just couldn't resist sharing. We just had our company Christmas dinner and for some when they eat too much they have to undo a button or 2 in their pants. Well for me.... it's my bra. I ate so much, at my desk I unhooked mine. My team felt so good being retired to the bench for what I thought would be for the rest of the day. Until the fedex man came to deliver my Christmas presents that Will sent me. So when they called my name I was scurrying to hook my bra back together and just as I was doing it, my manager walks out and she first looked then she busted out laughing. I told her look....my team was in a loosing battle and I had to bench them. I texted Will and told him the package arrived and I told him what I did. He texts back tell me he fell out laughing at his desk. *Whips off her pants and waves them in salute. Have yourself a Merry, you redneck...I hope Santa is good to your little girl. I just saw the new(ish) Star Trek movie on pay per view. I know it would have been better on the big screen but this way it was only six bucks for both of us, I didn't have to move off the sofa and we do have a 52" t.v. (and real butter if we had been eating popcorn).
It was pretty good. I liked the way all the actors portrayed their characters. Magical red matter, instant black holes, inadequately explained time travel and ensuing paradoxes - fine I suspended my disbelief and went along with it all. BUT why oh why were the female Starfleet personnel dressed like 1967 go-go dancers instead of in Starfleet uniforms? It was ludicrous! _____________________

Well, with the owner away at SCii, it appears it died. Need a patch apparently.
That or they banned me. Though I doubt that is the reason since I saw several "Problem" threads noting the issue. Still, seeing "Lexxi, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons: Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
