Despite my licking of Patches earlier, I did not eat the bunnies that disappeared. Poor little bunnies. :(

(this distracting myself from my dead cat with the use of virtual bunnies certainly didn't turn out well)

I thought it was me being banned from SC2 for pointing out their hypocrisy over arbitrary moderation. ;)

Pep (But it's just technical inadequacies it seems - thank goodness we have a stable forum here we can depend on! )

PS I *did* see that one of the admins posted that they needed some patches; perhaps they stole your bunny by mistake?

They ate Patches? :(

I just saw the new(ish) Star Trek movie on pay per view. I know it would have been better on the big screen but this way it was only six bucks for both of us, I didn't have to move off the sofa and we do have a 52" t.v. (and real butter if we had been eating popcorn).

It was pretty good. I liked the way all the actors portrayed their characters. Magical red matter, instant black holes, inadequately explained time travel and ensuing paradoxes - fine I suspended my disbelief and went along with it all.

BUT why oh why were the female Starfleet personnel dressed like 1967 go-go dancers instead of in Starfleet uniforms? It was ludicrous!

But...look at the getup the original Uhura had to wear:

Or did you mean in general what the heck were they thinking when they designed the '60s TV costumes, and thus they had to follow that theme in the recent movie?

I just saw it too and noticed that. Scylla must not have been the wardrobe consultant.

Thanks Mo. I thought I would give you lot a present, rather than the other way around . . .

Pep ( . . . so I have mainly been posting over in SC2 not here.)
