Speaking of computers, I think mine has heard me talk about getting a new one. It's been acting a bit strange the past few days. It locks up at random times, when I turn it on, the HD chatters away for over an hour before it settles down, and gets inordinantly sluggish at times. I ran a spybot scan and nothing came up, I'm going to do a defrag and see if it gets any better.

Cookies... the local newspaper printed a recipe for iced eggnog cookies a few days ago that I'm dying to try.

mmmm...eggnog...mmmm

For those of you unafraid to drink eggnog (uncooked eggs):

The “Recipe” - My great-grandmother’s eggnog

6 eggs
1 cup of sugar
1 pint of whipping cream
1 pint of milk
1 pint of whiskey (we use bourbon)
1 oz of rum
nutmeg

Separate the whites and the yolks since you need to beat them separately.

**If you have two different sizes of bowls, it’s a good idea to beat the egg whites in the larger bowl.**

Beat the whites until they are very stiff. Add ½ cup of sugar after beating.

While beating the yolks, add ½ cup of sugar.

Gently fold the yolks into the whites.

Whip the pint of whipping cream, and gently add to the eggs.

Stir in one pint of milk
Stir in one pint of whiskey
Stir in 1 ounce of rum

Keep refrigerated until served - top each serving with nutmeg.

This recipe is AWESOME.

Strangely enough my laptop is doing the same thing. Suddenly sluggish and non-responsive .. it seems like it "knows"

Not quite what we usually mean, Josh, when we say "he really fills out his pants!"

:D
Ew. Who says that? I've never heard this idiom; it sounds like a diaper commercial.

i think i'll pass on all the fattening cookies. they do not sound yummy to me. if they were peanut butter cookies, or oatmeal raisin, i might be more inclined to snag a few.

now..... that eggnog recipe.... yummmmmmmmmm

There's so much booze in that eggnog recipe that I don't think anyone will be worrying long about the risk of salmonella.

For anyone waiting for a computer to arrive, or is getting ready to buy one, very soon you are going to have so much fun :)

I popped over to Frosty Fruit and messed about with clouds and reflection....

I am sooo loving this!

Great pics.
I would love to comment on the hair. I really would. I just don't know what to say.

@Josh I watched that whole damn hand vid, interesting to say the least. I have had women make a comment about a certain part of my anatomy being "beautiful." Could you possibly introduce me to your agent?

He was asking a different question, ie "Can I lie and avoid my responsibilities?

Pep (As opposed to "I was so drunk I didn't realise that my bum looked big in this; can I return it?)

/me laughs

As opposed to "I was so drunk I didn't realize what an big ass I was; can I void the charges?"

(I'm doing some free association, Pep.)

Oh you menfolk...it would be a massive task to get hair to do that in RL. It takes a certain je ne sais quoi to pull off that doo. I can't go around in boring pigtails everyday :)

I love the hair Laurin.

For me, that's what SL is all about.

I'm pretty sure I could reproduce it with a shop-vac set to reverse and a bottle of corn syrup.

Why thank you. I have never been shy with my hair in RL, this is just much simpler and less likely to get my eye poked out on a windy day. :)

You'd be better off with Aqua Net and Knoxx unflavored jello. I say go for it and take a snap :p

Getting it built got me a much better machine for my euros (and maybe ask Veritable and Argent for help, they were invaluable in choosing).
