This has the makings of the longest lasting thread in the whole universe.

Is there a prize for the 100,000 post?

How about $100,000 Lindens?

I'll kick in ten.

Yay!!! I've got my new computer up and running, AND it does very nicely with SL. :D

I've been limping along since SL birth with computer barely able to run SL, even in a tiny little window with a 32m draw distance. But today, I have a real honest to goodness graphics card! I can run full window, all sliders to the max, and a 256m draw distance, and I'm still getting 25-30 fps even in a crowded sandbox.

Yeah yeah, okay, it's the non-Windlight client, but I prefer that. And I know 25-30 fps is hardly anything to write home about, but it's better than the 3 spf that sort of load would cause on the previous computer.

Yes, spf. Seconds per frame. So you can imagine why I'm so incredibly pleased with what anyone else would consider mediocre performance.

Anyway, it's like I just got my SL eyes fixed. I can see EVERYTHING!!!

I so happy. :p

We went through that about a year ago, for 20,000 I think it was. It didn't end well, there was great douchedom. It's funny what a few sheckels will do to some people.

Hello! Going . . um, going. I stick with just that. We are still moving along, yes.

Well thats always a good thing I guess. Moving is better than staying in the same place all the time.
Nice pics! Im gonna guess Sonia is in the skirt...but you both look gorgeous.

Howdy back at you! How are you? Classes going OK? When does your holiday break begin?

I'm good! Been so busy I've barely had chance to breathe.Lots of work to do this weekend, report due in on Tuesday and exams all next week, but my last day before Christmas will be Thursday, so we're having a flat party to celebrate before everyone disappears home for Christmas. I'm still enjoying classes, but they're steadily getting harder, I'm keeping up though, it just means more studying.

I'm hoping I can spend a bit of time inworld over the holidays, when I wont be quite so busy. I really want to try and catch up with everything and everyone, and the thought of all those Crimbo hunts I'm missing! lol.

I took a break from studying earlier and ended up sewing on a couple of buttons for one flatmate, cooking carbonara (Not bad for student digs) for me and another flatmate and making peanut butter cookies - of which there are now only two left. Boy are these guys lucky to have me here lol.

Have a missed anything major? Have LL managed to fix anything or is it still all borked as usual?
I hope everyone is doing well? :)

I remember that. I missed the exact post, but the fallout wasn't pretty. :(

I went back and read some of it... and yes, it did get ugly.

Almost as ugly as when I opined that NASCAR was for ignorant rednecks impaired from inhaling too much exhaust fumes.

Almost. ;)

Edited because I forgot to include the word: inbred.

omg, Reefer Madness. I hadn't thought about that flick in ages. :D

ROFL I was thinking about using the "if you smoke it you will go insane" for an opening for a vid, but I'll have to wait till I buy some land to build the set.

NIce pics, Lexxi!

Sonia is the one wearing the pants. Mains are SO bossy, aren't they?
;)

heh, Sonia is the one wearing the skirt. She is taller of the two, but it is quite hard to tell that in the picture. If seen in world, Lexxi's feet are hovering off the ground. hehe

From: Maureen Boccaccio
I was going to say the avi in slacks is Sonia, but then I was looking at the collar she was wearing, and I couldn't recall if Sonia wore one...so then I was thinking the avi in slacks was Lexxi.

Sonia is Mistress' pet also, but doesn't get in world (just as Mistress Hate is also Mistress). The collar Lexxi wears had been Sonia's, but I think a different one is worn now by Lexxi. Sonia had a collar, but not after sending it over to Lexxi.

Yay Ava! I think I know how you must be feeling. I just wish the elves would hurry up and build mine so I could rejoice with you.

so, can you tell which one is Sonia, which Lexxi? *mew*
Lexxi, you are on the left.

ETA: Drat, this is what happens when I let the screen sit too long without hitting refresh... too late. I recognized the skin and collar.

Actually I saw enough to know we all looked great! LOL Lexxi was making a pretty like chest of some kind, red and white. Like chest of drawers, or dresser. I was on my way to log off when I saw you guys there and just popped in. Husband was nagging in real so couldn't stay but wanted to drop in quick. Maureen's SHOES are so cute.

Hehe It was great seeing people again last night. I stayed up far too late, and got lots of snow in my dress, courtesy of 3 and Eli. Who looked very seasonal, all wrapped up warm.

Thanks for the lovely pic Lexxi :)
Heh, you missed the fun stuff where my shape squished up on Brann and Tod's screen so I turned into a dwarf :/
I love that purple dress. You know, I keep saying I love this or that, but tbh I think you always look amazing :)

I took some pics fairly early on, so hopefully I got some decent ones that can go on flickr, and maybe post here later :)

I actually had a pair almost exactly like that when I was in Jr High, somewhere around 7th grade I think.

They were hip-hugger bell-bottoms, also.

Probably stole them off Elmer The Elephant's washing line.
