I went xmas shopping earlier, but I think I got too carried away. It was way too much for me to carry easily on my own so I ended up having to rest under a tree I found on the way home...

I saw that one too. It made me think.... every time someone buys or uses a scripted prim dog, it puts a dog avatar out of work.
Food for thought... ya know?

Hmmm I wonder how much we can get for Weston?

Hi there - any ideas where to look for a beach house/villa, with a Mediterranean feel to it?

Has anyone done the Down the Chimney Hunt yet? I'm on number 8 - Mix and Match, and I'm so stuck! I've been looking for over half an hour. Anyone help?

ETA: Nevermine. I found it lol. Was in the place I've been looking, right under my nose

I have what the hunt items look like in my blog along with Slurls to the stores (not the locations of the prize, just the stores) for 1-60. Some items were skipped as notecards said they do not exist. One or two not found.

I cannot help from work, though, in where an individual item is located. Unfortunately (if you or others get stuck again).

LOL

All is well here. I went to the mall to do some shopping. I took me 3 days to get out of the parking lot.

Is anyone else no where near ready for Christmas to here?

I'm with you, Tex. My tree's not up yet, and I still have some prezzies to find.

Heading to the mall this evening, as a matter of fact. But that's more b/c my sister wants my company, as I rarely do any mall shopping. I do most of my shopping online. :)

I've not even started my Christmas shopping, but since I will do it all online, I should be able to finish in the next couple of days. I've already got the browser up with a few tabs open to items. Now just need to finalize each order, give the credit card info and provide everyone's proper shipping data.

If it cannot be done online, it will not be done. I will not go near anything resembling a store until at least a week after the new year.

And I told hubby I was not decorating this year and he had to do xmas cards if he wanted them sent. Bah Humbug - not in the mood.

Mo - are you looking for just a house/villa to put on existing land or are you wanting the land/place also?

If just the house, I'll did in my landmarks for a place I remember that sells them.

I'm behind on everything. Just to make matters worse, the big Christmas gathering for my side of the family is at our house this year. So that just adds to the list of things that I have no idea when I'll find the time to do.

Mine too; is the day after Christmas. Mine is every year, but other family members have other holidays, so I don't complain. I have done a lot of cleaning (the heavy, wall washing kind) in past few weeks, so now can do the fun stuff to get ready for them, baking, etc. Now that the cleaning is done, am looking forward to it.

i semi decorated. i'm not really going to be "here" for xmas so i didnt see a reason to go all out - but i do love christmas and how it makes people 'different' - and i love the music and the romance of it and meaning behind it all... so i had to decorate a little (okay, a lot. just no tree and no outside lights).

in my entire life, i've not once spent christmas without decorating a tree. that seems sacrilegious or something, and i am a very spiritual person (deep in there). i think that will be the most sad part this year - or maybe not being able to see my kids and watch my kitties play in wrapping paper. ok, i'm gonna go cry in the corner now. :(

but wait - i do have new and exciting adventures planned, and that makes up for the little sad face i made above. while christmas will be bittersweet this year, i maintain that there is only forward. and so far, i have no regrets about my decisions so i suspect the new adventures will be as wonderful as the memories of ago. and that makes me smile. :)

We did the tree last night. Six dragged me away from the computer. It looks pretty nice.

Tonight I guess we'll set up the... oh, brother, now I can't remember what you call it. The manger, the wise men... Six called it "the Jesus Dolls" when she was little, and I'm so used to calling it that... ah! Nativity Scene.

The Jesus Dolls are kind of busted up in places, because Six *did* play with them - angels are missing wing tips (not the shoes), a few have broken and mended arms, but overall they still look good.

Anything I would have said to encourage you, you've done a good job of getting there, yourself. You will be fine; and sometimes, we have to do that, encourage ourselves. It's a new way to be, and you will learn to live inside of it, even if parts of it don't always thrill you.
