Tis the season of cranky people tho, at work, public transportation and malls. Maybe they should give out happy pills....

For those of you who make indulge in that hideous concoction called microwave popcorn.

This is the new computer case I was talking about. Makes me feel like a character in Star Trek. :D

Wow...that looks so cool!! It's amazing with technology these days, things are getting smaller and at the same time more advanced.

That's alright. I bought myself L$5000 to get me started. So far it's gotten me new skin and eyes, two hair styles, 4 outfits and a bit left over for accessories. I'm almost done with my initial shopping finally. I'm so picky about clothes it's taken me three days to spend it and I never thought I'd say this, but for once I'm actually tired of shopping. Thanks for telling me though. It's the thought that counts, right?

Where did you go for clothes and hair? ETD has a discount shop that has freebies and items for $1 and they are actually pretty decent. She also has other hair in the store itself that is pretty good. Pixel Dolls seems to have a lot of sales lately, and their clothing is pretty decent too. Next time you are in the mood to go shopping, try these two places. IM me if you would like a landmark :)

Welcome to the forums btw :)

I got this in an e-mail months ago. I had the same reaction to it as I did to Seven's post.

San Francisco is just plain expensive. The end.

I think ANY tourist place is expensive. I've worked in many big cities in hospitality, and depending on what's going on in town, everything will always cost more.

I'm almost done too :) I will be done this weekend too - the crowds are getting worse and worse lol. And yeah, you ALWAYS find something for yourself when you shop... isn't that the law of shopping?

What was that girl doing in the background???

I discussed this with the exercise-fanatic guys at work today, thinking maybe they would understand what the hell's going on here.

After careful deliberation, we now believe he is a genetic hybrid between a leg-humping dog and a boob-grabbing jump-out-from-the-bushes rapist. The woman in the back has him on a leash to protect the womens 'n' childrenz.

Or she's removing a tapeworm from his butt. We're not sure which.

It's huge. I couldn't believe the size of the thing when I got it out of the box. I was so busy paying atttention to all the individual components when I ordered it, I didn't pay too much attention to the case. It was funny hooking it up. "Ooh, what's this button for? What's this dial do? ooh, shiney!" :D

I'm close, very close to being done and what is left is inconsequential. All I have is one batch of cards to finish up and then that is done too.

Now I have to do the sucky bit of baking sugar cookies and making truffles, which I give out to friends.

Happy Holidays! (Hope your system arrives soon, I ordered my monitor this morning. I wonder what sort of a difference that will be....)

Thanks. I am just trying to get a handle on various presets and this seemed like a nice spot to try the settings. It was at Fallen Whispers.

(hope that works)

@3 Try making shortbread, it's really simple with essentially only 4 ingredients but versatile enough that you can add things to it.

@Laurin I tried making truffles one year. NEVER AGAIN lol. Such a pain in the arse and I have hot hands so rolling out a million balls and dipping them in sugar and cocoa powder ... so tedious!

As for the computer .. still a Dec 31st ship date so I'm assuming I won't receive it until the new year :( It's so hard to wait!!!
