when i build, i usually have an end product in mind, but it never ever ends up being what i imagined when i started. I hear you!! You start building, and then you get an idea that changes it, most of the time to something even better. Sometimes I get frustrated with the limited amount of shapes that are available, as my computer is not big enough to deal with sculpties. |

The random thing never works for me, it just makes me frustrated. I have to have at least an idea in my head. If I've actually sketched it on paper, it helps. My inspiration often comes from seeing something in world that really sucks that I know I could make better. ETA: The hardest part for me is that I can't make textures for crap, so I'm always searching for the "right" textures. I get ideas from the weirdest things. I see a nice house in RL and I get to thinking, okay, how many prim would it take for me to make that in SL? And oh, look at that chair, wonder how I can make that in SL... LOL...when I see other furniture etc in SL, I always seem to compare it to my own creations. Creator's bias? |

We just had an AR party at a casino that apparently opened up in the NW corner of Allana, up around 500m -- there were at least 7 object owners that I found and ARd for:
- gambling - camping - unfair use of region resources - excessive scripted objects We wanted to AR for the tacky decorating, but could not find a category that fit Anyway, with that many ARs from so many, maybe LL will notice as we are pretty sure that is having a major impact on the lag at the hangout. _____________________

Hey, I actually saw Brenda at her store tonight. She's real! I mean, as real you can get in this venue. And Clover and Rhonda. And Malia too. I don't see people often except at big parties, so sometimes I think they're mythical or something. Maybe that's because I never do much of anything except go to big parties. Anyway, it looks like a picturesque shopping experience. |
