Hey, I was reading Mari's blog - entries about SLCC - and I wondered, what would stop someone from going there and saying they were me or you or any other user?

Probably the registration process. You sign up under your rl info; only time your SL name is used is when they ask if you want your rl name or sl name on your nametag. They send confirmations and info to your email; Unless you were just somebody who showed up, didn't register and just paid for a day, or something, and put some other name on your nametag. But if you went thru the registration process, I think it would be pretty difficult to fake it all the way through.

Most things I build come from things that Hera mentions. Argh now I have to finish one I started a couple of months ago.

Jer- I usually get inspiration from other people too - someone says, hey this wd be cool- or - i sure wish i could find... and I am off - also, classes are great for inspiration - my little boat came from a class i took - but mine is - screw modesty - a heck of a lot better than the class one! I've just kept tweaking it and I know i can still make it better.

Hey, one of those nut-job threads going on out there mentioned the new and improved guidelines- i quote this little piece...

"No Interpersonal Disputes or Singling out Others for Negative Commentary. We do not allow posts about interpersonal disputes or that contain disruptive or hostile comments. If you have a personal disagreement, do not post about it on the Second Life blogs or forums. These are public areas for the entire Second Life community and not for airing your grievances about others. Residents who have personal disputes have other channels of communication to discuss their differences – private messaging, IM within Second Life, or chatting within Second Life."

Am thinking some attitude adjustments will be necessary for certain folks if they remain- assuming it ever does happen or any of us old folks migrate to it-

What about the part that discusses what discussion topics must be? Only SL Related topics? Since they've drug these things out of mothballs now, could it be they intend to enforce them?
