Is anyone having trouble saving pics to their HD? All of a sudden, every time I try, I crash out. I'm using the 1.19 Cool Viewer, which I've used for ages now, and I haven't changed anything, but can't save pictures. Think of teh vanity pics!!!! :eek:

That was happening to me for a long time,so I just started emailing the pics to myself instead. Doesn't seem to happen in the Emerald viewer now though,but I'm so use to emailing them ,I still do.

Are you using the shortcut key (ctrl~) to do a fast save to HD? A few months back I started crashing ever time I did that. Went thru all kinds of things trying to debug it and fix it. Finally I broke down and uninstalled all of my SL viewer versions, made sure all folders were removed, made sure nothing left in registry, and reinstalled -- works like a charm now.

Different situation. Yes, Chris did pay ONE THOUSAND LINDENS for a pair of my panties at an auction on this very Forum, but sometime after a box containing what purported to be my panties went up for sale on SLX by none other than the esteemed Har Fairweather. I don't know if any were sold, but if so...I want my cut!!! *shakes fist*

Talon Faire is hosted on Blogspot- I have found it easy to use and it accepts HTML also which is handy for links and similar. There are bunches of gadgets you can add if you like that sort of thing - take a look at mine if curious. Others seem to favor wordpress, but I do not have experience other than as stated.
Ditto on Blogspot, works for me and a lot of other SL folks seem happy with it. Blogspot, formerly Blogger, has been around long enough that their service is reliable. I like it better than LiveJournal. I have not used Wordpress, so can't comment on it.

Nowadays most of the major blog sites will allow you to export and import blogs, so you can always pack up and move if you find one you like better. :)

Why doesn't the hangout have a weekly party like SLU does? If we had a standing time every week, that would be pretty neat IMO.

We used to...I hosted Friday afternoons with DJ Syd for awhile. I think it was every friday at 1PM SLT.
