I don't understand this kidnapping stuff.

I mean, kidnap victims don't WANT to be abducted. But Brenda seems to be scheduling abductions daily.

Is it kidnapping when the victim waits for you on the streetcorner, impatiently tapping her foot?

Is it Kidd-napping if I lay down to take a short snooze?

Yes, yes...I know that. I oughta, since I enjoy some forms of rp myself occasionally. What I mean is...well, how is it done? How hard does the victim run, and/or struggle?

If it were CARP, I'd have a clearer picture. You try HARD to avoid getting caught in CARP.

help help

How the heck do I get my computer to work again? There's some stupid "Wireless adapter radio off" thingie, pop-up. It says to slide wireless on/off switch to enable. What the heck am I supposed to do? I can't connect to internet.

There's no help button on that screen. Just those stupid words and a cancel button. There's a next button also, but it is greyed out. I didn't even see it until now.

How the heck do I "slide wireless on/off switch" Where the heck is that switch?

Just a quick Howdy Folks!!

Good news, the computer glitch was only a power supply, still covered by warranty.
With any luck I should actually be able to get into SL in a day or two. :)

I put something or other into google "wireless switch on/off" or something like that. Got

Didn't help me immediately because I did not have the exact same computer. My switch was not next to the headphones thingie. But the page did let me know that there is some switch and I searched my computer hard. I pushed all the buttons one way and another. I've probably launched several missles by now, if I had been connected, of course, but I finally found the switch.

I'm connected again. shesh.

oh, how was I able to go on internet and search? I'm on my fried computer. The one that let's me on safe mode with network connectivity, but is otherwise useless. yay for having an otherwise useless laptop around! hehe
