When I go to NY, I stay at the Embassy Suites in the Financial District. Nice neighborhood to walk in also, walking distance of the 9/11 memorials, and free breakfast and free happy hours. Good nuff, lol.

You can take a nice walk on the Brooklyn Bridge from that neighborhood too.

You seen my skater girl look? It's interesting that I use my ordinary shape, not a shape made to look younger. Amazing what no boob shading and a band-aid on the nose can do.

The skateboard has static poses, since I'm just playing with different looks, not planning to have an avatar that look 14 year old.

husband was cheating, so I came home early to catch him in the act.
But instead, I found him all by himself in the den watching TV.

Betty: So, what happened?

Margaret: I was so sure there was another woman there somewhere
that I started running all over the house looking.
I ran up into the attic and searched, and down into the basement.
Then I went through every closet and checked under all the beds.
I kept this up until I had looked everywhere, and finally I became so
exhausted that I just keeled over with a heart attack and died.

Betty: Too bad you didn't look in the freezer---we'd both still
be alive.

I like to work. I need to have purpose. Makes my enjoyable times much more enjoyable. However, if i could get one of those bots to be my bitch so i didn't have to clean my house anymore, i'm all about getting my own little Rosie.

Luckily I was alone when I read that one.

It reminds me of the one about the slow-witted guy who comes home unexpectedly in the middle of the day and finds his wife lying in bed. She's red all over, covered in sweat, and has the strangest expression on her face.

"What's wrong?" he asks.

"I'm having a heart attack," she tells him, so he runs downstairs to call for an ambulance.

When he hangs up the phone his son tells him, "Dad! Dad! Uncle Dave is in the closet in your room and he has no clothes on!"

The man goes into a fury. He tears upstairs, pulls the closet door open and shouts, "You b*****d! My wife's having a heart attack and you're running around scaring my kid?"

my weekend-

my weekend had high points, and low points. but you don't care about any of that. THIS, you'll wanna hear.

picture this: Saturday night at 9pm. We are enjoying a quiet little dice game on an outdoor table at a motel. the table sits on a corner area, surrounded by motel on one side and parking lot of the other. lots of nice plants and a wrought iron fence separate us from both. we are literally 10 yards from the closest motel room, which makes up one side of the corner of the building.

rolling dice, laughing, harrassing each other - and we hear yelling coming from one of the rooms. i had arrived late, so was unaware of the tenants that evening. very quickly, i am informed that there is a group of 3 fellas staying in that room closest to us, that my family has watched these fellas become drunk over the course of the past 1 1/2 hours prior to my arrival, and definitely the room the yelling is coming from.

ok, so? big deal. drunk guys.

but - the yelling wasn't them getting rowdy over a football game on tv, or who won a dart game... this has very explicit sexual verbage - LOUD! - at first, we all looked over and laughed cuz we figured they were just horsing around, you know... saying stupid things drunk people say (not that i ever have, mind you *coff*). but no, this was serious. it went on tooooooo long. there was no laughing. there was very graphic descriptions, and betwixt you n me, didn't sound painless. LOL so anyway, talk about feeling awkward. LOL

so it got quiet a second, and we all breathed a sigh of relief. but then, i guess it was one of the other guy's turn. round two. not as loud, but certainly as long, and definitely more descriptive.

at this point, i am way done being there - and my family? ......... "ssshhhh, we're trying to hear" and stuff like that. i'm very glad to be home in the safety of my little sheltered world. sometimes TMI really is....
