As I said last evening, when I saw you Chris, I'm very excited about this party. I'm sure I will be overly lagged, barely able to dance, will crash several times and it will be well worth the effort :)

/me wonders if I'll be able to get a new computer by then?

The keyboard on my new laptop is messed up. I am really hoping it is all fixed by then since I crash much less often with it than my desktop.

I gave my keyboard a good cleaning and since then, it seems to be much better behaved. That air spray does wonders but with the laptop, you really need to be very careful with that stuff, it can damage it because the board is a lot more delicate than the desktop kind.

i hope you realise that all of that wasnt because of you personally, but rather the reaction to the clocktower probe in conjunction with certain... processes of decision-making. i definitely dont want to rehash this, esp in public, but i am certain you know what im on about.
since all that is both prehistoric and behind the scenes maybe i will show up anyway :) hopefully some of the inactive originals can make an appearance as well.

Nina, I hope you do. We may fight and butt heads, but you are one of my favorite people.

what kind of moron BOILS burnt veal bones? here is the recipe for fond de veau as employed by my 'head chef' today:

1. burn the piss out of 60kg or veal bones in a 220C oven
2. dump the bones into two large pots, then top with HOT TAP WATER
3. add RAW MIREPOIX
4. add one a10 tin of RAW TOMATO PASTE, and allow it to settle to the bottom of the pots (to catch and burn)
5. BOIL over full flame for 8 hours, topping with HOT TAP WATER as needed
6. do not depouillage, as that extracts 'flavour'

wtf?!?! i told the agency i will NEVER return to this shithole  how disgusting. he has 2 apprentices there learning this cowboy methodology, learning to serve dogshit. thats the worst part of all!

The RAW mirepoix is really getting to me :(

That recipe is awful, no depth of flavor could come out of it. It has to taste like crap.

And please, come to the party :)

Morning all! I suggest that today's theme be "professions." I'm thinking fireman, astronaut, french maid, doctor/nurse, policeman,...

the kitchen smelled like burnt garbage. to make it even worse he will be reducing the stock to jus, intensifying the terrible burnt and bitter flavour. i cannot see how anyone will not think it tastes terrible!

Oooo - I have a few of those costumes. And since I am not working today, I might even have time for some pics.

That's not a loofah, it's an air brush on the girl on the left as you look at the pic.

The problem is that I really did spill some Coke on it. We took it all apart and washed the keyboard, but I still have a few keys that are not working properly. The Geek Squad suggested I call Asus directly and order a new keyboard - they said it would be far cheaper that way, since my husband can handle dismantling laptops and putting them back together. Unfortunately, the keyboards are on back-order and I am not sure for how long.

Oh, sorry, but nobody is on my ignore list and even you are not cool enough to make that list.

I guess I should update you all on some things I spoke about before. Some of you already know this stuff...

First off I was diagnosed with panic disorder,I have been having bad panic attacks for a couple of months now. I am currently on two different anxiety medications that seem to work most of the time. I am already nuts, but this added craziness is making me incredibly depressed and irritated a lot. They drive me insane and don't know what to do about them. So I don't come around people as much as before.I always thought panic attacks were a bullshit excuse for people to get some Valiums or other good drugs prescribed. Unfortunately I can attest, they are not. They are very real and very scary.:/

Also,my mom passed away. So that has been keeping me away as well. I wasn't all that close to my mother these days. We haven't spoken in a long time and I had some serious issues with her since Christmas. So of course now I feel sad and guilty. Though my issues with her were very serious and justified. I still feel guilt that I didn't speak to her before she died.

Anyway, I am moving back to Boston in her house soon. Probably in August.

And today I am going to the registry to get a new picture.

And after that sitting around playing with bubblewrap.

Anyway, I felt the need to explain why I wasn't around glaring for Brenda and felt I should follow up on earlier posts.I really haven't felt comfortable talking about on the thread until now.(Cause I'm all doped up.:p )

Nina, please do come to the party. Don't let others keep you away from doing something you want to do.

Great idea Elora:p I do wonder how many messages my VM holds anyway, Let's experiment.:D

Don't know if I'll have time to go inworld and do a new one and had this laying around:

"Bored, hates to clean. Would rather eat you out of house and home. Charges an arm and a leg to just stand around and look good. Outfit by Four Yip :) "
