From: Maureen Boccaccio Wow! Lots of ironing! I'm folding clothes...sort of... My two rules on ironing: 1. Never buy anything that will ever need ironing. 2. If something that was bought does need ironing wear it wrinkled. Very few exceptions. From: Maureen Boccaccio I like the holidays where practically everyone is glad to participate, for example, in the US: Memorial Day...4th of July...Thanksgiving. Same here. Did you ever go to the OB December Parade?

From: Kaimi Kyomoon My two rules on ironing: 1. Never buy anything that will ever need ironing. 2. If something that was bought does need ironing wear it wrinkled. Tell me about this thing you call an "iron" The apartment I"m in now thankfully has a washer/dryer in it, even in a dedicated room. However, the dryer is very basic, no "settings" - just on and time. I'm not used to this and pretty much everything wrinkles now if you don't pull them out asap once dry. Still like you, not keen on the ironing thing and none of my clothing requires it (or I can get away with it being less than crisp - it's jeans and a t-shirt for cripes sake). What bothers me most are the flat sheets for the bed, because the tops of them tend to curl under where they are ocassionally decorated slightly. Still won't pull the iron out for the because I don't have a large irong board lol to pull them out on. C'es la vie!

Yes, it is a curious story...there has to be more to it. Hi! Hardly post here, though I periodically complain in Jira about them blowing smoke up our butts about the "eventual" forum upgrade.

From: Maureen Boccaccio Yay on the Weber. I love the convenience of a gas grill, but man, there's nothing like food grilled over wood or charcoal. I love that you had a little neighborhood parade! And how cool that it went right by your house!! I like the sound of that marinade. I kind of messed it up - should have been more soy sauce, less ketchup but it tasted great anyway. Made homemade strawberry ice cream too - I was feeling industrious Now we both reak of charcoal as does the bedroom (deck is off that room, which is rather inconvenient for cooking and more so we now find out for odors, but meh, out comes the Bath & Bodyworks Lavender Vanilla Pillow spray...charcoal be gone!) I hope you enjoyed your day too Maureen, and that the rain held out enough to get the food onto the grill for you and yours. In the meantime, G is busy inworld working on new art for his showings this upcoming weekend (both Saturday and Sunday, and then on Monday as well I believe, have to check the calendar again, all in different galleries). While he keeps busy with that (and apparently chatting up a storm in the Cartel IM) I rezzed my photosphere for the first time in eons and got motivated to take some pix - so here's one for the Thread:

They have this neat trick of stretching the sheets onto the beds while they're still damp and then they dry in place, perfectly. It works great in the desert but here on the humid coast they'd mildew before they ever got dry. The decorated sheets sound lovely, but folding is good enough for my plain ones.

From: Pserendipity Daniels Hi Zena. The "non-clique" will soon be contacting you to tell you off for quoting me. The sl build is a pretty good approximation of the real thing considering. Pep (except for the b***** foreign tourists.) PS I couldn't find the orgy room in the real thing though! ummmmm....what orgy room?? Damn, how did I miss that? Er...umm..I mean.. yeah, didn't see that, thank goodness! But seriously, thanks to Damien for posting the pictures.. it really was an incredible build.. so detailed. Again, I stand in awe of the talent, time and dedication of some of the creators here in SL. PS: They're "NON"- clique.... so who cares? (grins) OH! Wait! Am I in the clique? Who's the clique? Can I bribe my way in?
