Update on the Ex-Fiancee:

I can tell she's disturbed by what happened.

She's still planning on moving to Kentucky to live with friends & "find a job & go to school". I miss the days of being young & dumb and full of dreams.

We've gone out twice now. Mostly small stuff. BUT- I no longer end the evening with "I Love You". More like "Night. See you later".

While my heart wants her back, my brain says "Let go". :(:(

Only time will tell
My heart goes out out to you, Tod. In my experience these situations work out better when people manage to go with their brains.

I heard a funny little take on Michael Phelps and the marijuana incident.

These days, people are up in arms about professional athletes using performing enhancing drugs. So why get mad at Phelps?! If anything Phelps was taking a drug that would hurt his performance! I mean...can you imagine how fast he'd be if he didn't toke up!
Hey the guy won 8-gold medals. Maybe more people should use marijuana to relax in their off time.

Seriously, I hope all of you who are afraid you're addicted to SL don't beat yourself up over it. Life is hard and often painful and often boring. Having an escape that helps you get through the day is often a good thing. If you are actually doing damage to other parts of your life because of the time you spend in SL then of course that's a problem. But even so don't feel too bad. Forgive yourself for what is past and work as best you can to make the future better.

I used to often fantasize about what advice my present self would give my past self if I could. Then I realized it would make more sense to try and imagine what my future self would like me to do now.

Um...not sure if I did anything special, but...I pulled up Soji's picture, clicked on the "All Sizes" button above the pic, and looked for the right-sized pic...and then right clicked on it and highlighted "Copy Image Location"...
