Ummm...no, you're right about that. I'm just dealing with some major passive-aggressiveness lately, which I despise. Hopefully, she'll get over this crap soon! i am the passive aggressive one. LOL i was thinking about making my own tshirts - with phrases like (i got it!) (do you feel all powerful now?) (want to kick me some more?). one of my coworkers told me that was not a good idea. LOL _____________________

i dont think i'll make clothes to SELL anymore. i don't really like spending my time in photoshop doing that. i might make some for ME, but not to sell. i DO love making textures, however. so, i think i'll close my store (for good this time) and focus on primmy things like furniture, decor and fun stuffs. i still have a set of pajamas to make i promised Bec (that i never finished), cuz i just feel all unhappy when i sit and know i have to make it. ugh. after i make those jammies, i'm out of the clothing business for good. i'm only announcing this so it'll force me to stand by my word and shut down. all those IM's i get inworld of threats to be sued for using the same name as other stores (even though i KNOW mine was there first) - well, all those 3 people should be very happy now. LOL _____________________

If it's not fun then that's a good reason not to do it. I've made barely any clothes for 6 months. In my case I'm just disgusted with the stupid avatar mesh we have to work with. But apparently new people somehow keep stumbling into my shops and buying the same old clothes... you have nice things. my style. and orange. _____________________

mine cannot be tricked. she is a majorly unhappy, bitter, lonely and angry woman. and apparently i am her dog to kick around. makes work unpleasant. i love the kids, but the work atmosphere is the pits. enough to make me quit the profession altogether. i dont think you want to trade. something tellls me you would not like the ALL DAY LONG attempts at degradation, mistreatment and humiliation. I have been feeling the same as 3- about clothes lately. I am having much more fun in making 'stuff'. Jewelry is pretty challenging also and it seems there is less same-same involved in decor stuff than in clothes.

I'm so sorry you and Honey (and Elora) have to work with people who don't appreciate how lucky they are to have you. When I was a special ed assistant I loved the kids but the best part was the teachers I worked with. They were and still are some of my best friends. last year they tossed me in a class of extremely ED students (one was a certified sociopath - diagnosed at age 7  ), with completely passive teachers that they could scrounge up from anywhere- we went through 3 teachers last year - (who all had no backbone and no motivation/drive), and the last one was a man who developed a crush on me and basically became a stalker. it was HORRIBLE! i quit the year early because it was unbearable both because the guy was creepy, and because i was expected to make all decisions, yet i had no power to back them up - yet i was responsible for the outcomes. no support. it was really really too much to bear.this year i am working with 3 bitches. all some sort of power trip. the certified teacher is a bully, and the aides under her are competitive (as am i, but i keep myself in check) and there is this constant undercurrent of power tripping. it sucks. i am a team player - i NEVER knew i could be so tolerant without barking back. having said that, everyone has an explosion point. currrently, mine is brewing just below the surface. LOL _____________________

God, I hate feeling guilty!
Usually when Mr. MacMoragh gets up in the morning, there is more harrumping and sniffing before he even gets out of bed, but today I barely heard his feet shuffling down the hallway... I had only just enough time to kill my SL session. "I caught you," he said drily, as he glanced at the screen... it was just some harmless webpage. My god... usually I have time to get the "guilty as charged" look off my face before he walks in the room... The thing is, he's been so nice lately about giving me space for SL, so I feel worse about getting caught. I think he's trying to have a "I won't ask if you don't rub my face in it" attitude. The very first time I met Pep, the very first thing he said to me was, "What *were* you doing, Key?" But I wasn't actually *doing* anything this morning... it just that I stupidly had that egg-on-my-face look. grr... |
