An update on my friend.

He came through the surgery just fine. Everything looks good. As long as nothing unforeseen happens, he will be going home tomorrow to recover. :)

Huh. So that's what happened to that restaurant in NYC. We used to have one on 18th Street (I think just barely west). Loved the place; had this amazing chicken sandwhich on Indian Fry bread, OMG to die for.

Anyhoo, hope the two of you had a lovely lunch! Actually, there is a (slim) chanse I may be in DC sometime in March. If so, you know I'll be in touch and we'll make it a threesome :)

Well, I had put it into Photobucket, along with another one, of him kind of crouched down on the ground. Apparently Photobucket found that one offensive and pulled it!

If I only had a telephoto lens or something. It looks quite impressive in person but when I take a picture of it with my little camera it looks pretty small and it fades into the sky.
