Ha ha ha Spike... I guess it is a group show of about 20 artists. I spoke with one and he said it will be ongoing with some changes from time to time... As a new guy, I highly recommend you go see it.

I have posted a long stream of pictures in this thread here: /327/45/305437/1.html

Thread might be dead, though, so I put note here.

Thanks, Soji! I bookmarked that thread here at work and sent it to my home email account. :)

And I had a really great lunch with Lindal today! We met at Union Station, and had lunch at America (which is in the train station):

An update on my friend.

He came through the surgery just fine. Everything looks good. As long as nothing unforeseen happens, he will be going home tomorrow to recover. :)
I'm so glad.

Hello Thread. Happy Friday.

I got a link through the SLU group chat to go check out this SIM. It is called "EnLuMiNuRiA"

For those of you who would like to see it... here is the SLURL:

http://slurl.com/secondlife/Saucier/154/140/27

Wow...the sim is a fitting frame for such beauty. :)

Dunno how much you know so I'm gonna go really simple, just ignore me if you already know any of this lol

A Sim is a square of land in SL, where people build and create an area for either them to live in, or for a store where people can buy stuff or (in this case) an artistic installation where people can go and wander through, and see what they've created.
The SLURL is a web address that will send you a landmark inworld so you can get to the place.
in this case the slurl is
http://slurl.com/secondlife/Saucier/154/140/27
so you copy paste that into your browser as normal (without the {url} tags), but when you are logged in. Then click on Teleport, and it will send your avatar a Landmark which you can then click teleport and get to the sim.
Sometimes you might have to click 'allow' if your computer brings up a popup about a warning of the internet trying to access your computer or something.

ETA: Just realised, thats probably pretty confusing lol

I'm good...very good.

And it's almost quitting time for me! :)

Are you stopping by the party at the hangout? (started 30 minutes ago...and goes for another 5 1/2 hours)

Oh, I know!! It can be a bit overwhelming. All this new stuff...new people...so much to see and do...

I don't think I slept but 2-3 hours a night when I first started. :D
