I am soooo there as soon as I log in. I think I need a new pair to wear with my dress for the party this afternoon anyway.

Ivalde has a 50% off on all red/pink stuff too. Think I sorted my outfit out in two stops lol.

Awesomeness :D

Friend just sent me a link that was just so moving thought I would share it with the Thread:
http://leivesther.blogspot.com/2009/02/wedding-gown-that-made-history-by-helen.html
Great story. My mom served overseas in the British ATS during WW2; after VE day she met my dad who was a GI.
Anyway one of the things she had, when I was a kid, was a parachute that she was saving for a time when someone needed something made of white silk. I don't know what ever became of it though... I don't think it's still in the house...

I hate ethical dilemmas and I'm having one :(

I'm in a photo contest. The photos must tagged specifically in the way the promoter indicates, or they won't be considered.

If you click on the appropriate tags, there are 5 pictures - two of which are mine. If you go to the promoter's group, there are 11 pictures - meaning 6 of them are improperly tagged.

Would you contact the people with the improperly tagged photos and tell them?

(I really want to win this though.....)
Hmm... on the one hand I've rarely (maybe never) regretted being generous. But on the other I don't think you are obligated to take responsibility for your competitors mistakes. Good luck in the contest!

Wow...um...well...

If I knew them, I almost certainly would tell them. Especially someone I might see/talk to regularly.

A perfect stranger? I probably would still tell them.

But, I've always been the type who hates...HATES...winning on a technicality. When I win, I want it to be untainted by controversy. I want it to be because *I* won.

An update on my friend.

He came through the surgery just fine. Everything looks good. As long as nothing unforeseen happens, he will be going home tomorrow to recover. :)

Well, I still think my pictures are the best in the group, but there are a couple who are pretty close and if they were properly tagged...

*sigh*

Honey- only you can answer it you know. If you feel you will be fine not doing it- your choice.

I have posted a long stream of pictures in this thread here: /327/45/305437/1.html

Thread might be dead, though, so I put note here.

Ummmmm....I'd contact them, regardless. It's just my opinion, but I think it's the best thing to do.
