Did you get their autographs? No. They were not a big deal to us. They played at the County fair and other places so much by the time that song hit it big even as a kid I knew it.  _____________________

I'm going into technical writing. I'm hoping it has all the things I liked about patent law and none of the things I didn't like. I don't regret being an attorney - there's a lot to recommend it for a smart person who likes to be challenged - but there's a lot of pressure and crap to go with it too. A very mixed kind of career (isn't everything though!). as much as i like to hear myself babble in creative ways, i'd probably prefer the sleuthing part of it much more than a court date. i'd be more interested in criminal law than anything. i wonder if it's too late to become a researcher. do they even pay someone for that sort of thing? good luck with the technical writing. i'm not sure exactly what you'd be doing, but it sounds like you'll still be in the legal profession. i hope it's all you dream it to be. _____________________
