Thradia's a good girl looking for fun. Or, a fun girl looking for good. I'm never quite sure which.

Check this out.
We've travelled far and wide on this grid and I have to say that Golgothica is probably the finest I've seen since Privateer Space. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() _____________________

Eventually the night seduces us all... One by one we succumb to it, Descending into the inky blackness, Oblivion beckoning like a dark beacon, Quiet, peaceful, nothingness. Do not go gentle into that good night, Old age should burn and rave at close of day; Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Though wise men at their end know dark is right, Because their words had forked no lightning they Do not go gentle into that good night. Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight, And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way, Do not go gentle into that good night. Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay, Rage, rage against the dying of the light. And you, my father, there on the sad height, Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray. Do not go gentle into that good night. Rage, rage against the dying of the light. Gabriele and Jerboa...over the course of your time in the thread, you (and many others) have given me such pleasure with your literary posts (be they your words or those of another). Thank you. ![]() |

G'night an g'mornin, threadsville!
This was a busy, busy weekend f'r me. On Saturday was the second meeting of the Geisha Girl's Club, a club for kid avvies interested in the ways of the geisha. it's an interesting mix, given that both are so often viewed as something they aren't. Right after this, however, it was off to the Blake Sea: a mole friend of mine told me about some testing of the upcoming ferry boat, and I managed to slip onboard. Can't wait to see this and the sea plane get done. Yes, I do have a piccie of th' boat -- many have seen cousins of 'em in Barbarossa and Blake Sea - Half Hitch. ![]() Right after that, it was off to Bay City - Tanelorn for the opening of Phinn Boffin's new art show, and a performance by Komuso Tokugawa. Komuso does an awesome show. Some time afters, too, I ended up doin th' "Manbo!" with the artist and some friends. To finish out the night, inspired by a chat on the Forum Cartel list, I started to work on a new goodie. The item is seen below, as modeled by my brother Pygar: ![]() See? That was only Saturday so far! I did't even include redoing some of my plants or having a big test at HardKnock Elementary or even testing the custom 7 seas stuff on Friday, did I? Anyway, Sunday started off with a big Bay City Alliance meeting. A Linden is now working with us to a small extent (primarily advisory) on some of our Bay City needs. This was cool, but I can tell there's gonna be a lot of work to come. It was also about 2 1/2 hours of meetings. Eep! Later in the day, after show and tell in Lummerland, I heeded the call of the FUEGO!. I drummed. I provided some pyrotechnics. I had fun. ![]() Then, after all the meetings and stuff, and knowing I had more to do later, I decided to take some down time. It was back to the Blake Sea, where I parked a wonderful little motor boat that Alisha Matlova put together, attached a wearable 7 Seas server, and fished in the middle of the ocean. For fun, I even cranked the viewer up to ultra, turned up the draw distance to 512m, and watched the other boats out on the water. I *highly* recommend this to anyone who wants to jes get away f'r a bit. ![]() After this, it was off to a friend's 1st rez day party, yay! I learned a new game, watch some fireworks that I did't hafta blow up, an generally had fun with friends. An now... I'm writing this! Can ya believe I did all that an still managed to do some RL chores, too? whee! Anyway, that's th' weekend here. Busy busy! _____________________

I love reading about your weekends. Thanks! /wave to all the new posters. "hi hi!" It was great running into Amara and Steely in Japan last night. That beer cooler was a hoot! To recap: Steely: Don't touch the beer, it's trapped Mo: *touch touch touch* --Mo is stretched like Plasti-girl Steely: Told ya. ![]() --Jerboa quietly starts snapping pics. ![]() --Mo relogs. In the mean time Amara: *touch touch touch* Um oops! ![]() --Jerboa quietly smooths his ears and keeps snapping pics. ![]() After everyone was back to normal, we chased down Kelvinblues Oh. The man can play the blues! Ok...time to work. Cheers all! ![]() _____________________
