Good afternoon Threadites.

From: Marianne McCann

For fun, I even cranked the viewer up to ultra, turned up the draw distance to 512m, and watched the other boats out on the water. I *highly* recommend this to anyone who wants to jes get away f'r a bit.

Lovely picture.

I would SO love to be able to 'go ultra' sometimes, but my poor old machine goes into meltdown after all but a few seconds!

Stupidly enough I took a tour outside ...

There are two maybe three legitimate questions and the rest is poll garbage but yeah, of course the Thread is a horrible drain on RA and should be eliminated- god forbid we would be subjected to a series of inane posts.

I enjoy reading stuff by many posters-

The titles and one thread of the recent spate of "Choose Me, Choose Me" was enough for this reader, tvm-

Maybe it's just a question of time passages... a phase of the Moon, oxygen deprivation?

Hang on Threadies... we're in for a bumpy ride....

Bless you.

Great pics Brann, and Amara and Mari of course. I think Brann and Max should have travelogue site of their own. They seem to find the most interesting places, and are one of the most photogenic couples I've seen. LL should pay them to share their adventures and put them up on the SL site.

Hey Mari,
Have you read "Memoirs of a Geisha?" It might be tough reading for a 5-year old but there are some cool stories about how the heroine learned to become a geisha, even at a very young age. (Imagine playing the zither till your fingers bleed when you're 7 years old!)

That is an absolutely spellbinding book.

Agreed! I was so sad when it was over. The movie was good but I felt that it glossed over some of the grittier parts of the novel.

No more alcohol for Maureen.

I really want to see that China sim, that is if a certain puppy let's me sit down long enough to log in. Is it required to wear the tradional garb?

There's a local butcher near my house that sells cut up cow bones for a dollar a piece; they're great for entertaining puppies and cheaper than rawhides... and really good for their teeth.

He turned 3 months on Saturday, and I think he is in his "Let's see how far I can push Mommy phase" He is already the most well equipped dog on the planet, but he prefers to play with big people's stuff. Like books, bathroom articles, my computer desk. Once I get my yard fenced in, I can let him stay out there more often, as opposed to watching him, or leash walking him. He does have his girlfriend next door, a 4 year old Golden retriever,
he usually gets an hour or so over there every day. Her yard is fenced in, so we just let them have at it.

The one with the weird pix is from a Japanese sim that Steel found on the Showcase. Dressing is not required. The ones Damien took are from Fantas China or Legend of China, something like that- I will drop you an LM. Dress is not required there either but at those prices I could not resist :D.

Good morning all! Rain in Dallas made for a tiring drive in. Other than the crap in the rest of RA, how are we all doing?

I had a terrific weekend! Hope everyone else did too :)
