Been up all night doing the Grid Wide Valentine Hunt - arrrgh!!!! How the hell did I agree to this. 250 Frikkin' lips in 250 Frikkin places to collect - arrrggh!!!!
There is also a second grid wide hunt called Greatest Love -- another 200 or so stops.

the elephant he shot in his pajamas could join, if he could type on a keyboard.

i think it's been established that being able to type and spell is not a prerequisite. :p

Hello folks - I have been joyfully ensconced in SL all day- still there but breathing out here for now. Last night I made lamps :) They light up and everything! And I made a very cool and curvy room divider a la Frank Lloyd Wright and today, besides strolling abut China withe that delectable devil, Damien, I built an Asian foot bridge and placed it in Talon Faire. The place Damien showed is soo beautiful- u guys have to see it! And the store has such fantastic clothes= if u like ethnic, and I do have a thing for Asian styles. That awesome dress u see me in was all of $100 L and came with hair and shoes and everything u see there.

As for Brenda and her duct taping... I have pretty much given up on looking out "there" So - happy not to know what new bit of drama is percolating.

Going back in now- going to attempt making an interior water fall for a customer :) Wish me luck- never done it before :)

I delete the majority of what I get, but for some reason I love the hunts.

Oh I did have lots of fun, I even met Elora and Aebles during it (and I never bump into people when I am out). Trouble is they are just too long. 8+ hours on a hunt is just too much.

Thank you so much for sharing your adventures and helping me make a list of places to see in SL (thank you to all who list and share photos.) I am usually online alone (and I am ok with that :) so I like to just go see things... and shop. I am way into ethnic clothing so thanks once again for this post.

You and everyone else in this thread have no idea of the places you send me. Now I am off to rejoin the hunt that will no doubt fill my hours with upacking, trying it on/out and no doubt, deleting many.

Hugs to the thread. :)

Yeah - the grid wide ones, I have a tendency to spread across a few days. The Xmas one was a killer though with 500 stops

And one of my big pet peeves with the grid wide ones is that for some stops you end up having to search an entire freakin sim for one damn item - I really hate that.

OMG - Pick any of these to watch and you'll die laughing. My husband is threatening to get one for when I drag him to the mall.

I felt the same, some stores just were not getting into the spirit of the thing. In a way I felt they were kinda cheating by tp'ing you to a remote place on the sim where there was only product (prefab makers you know who you are!)and in fact you needed to tp to another place to find the item - not fair at all.

There was one place though that was fantastic and I thought they hid the lips really well - they made a big red heart on the floor and put about 50 lips on top of it side by side as a display - only one was for sale, the others were dummies - lol
