Morning everyone!

@ Oryx - Memoirs of a Geisha is one of my favorite books! Really did a great job of detailing what it's like to be taken as a young girl and raised up in that lifestyle.

@ Amara - Fabulous pix!

@ Honeybear - You were great at the silk fashion show Saturday. It was quite enjoyable and I realized I'd never been to a fashion show in SL before, for some reason I thought I had been. I thought you had some of the best poses of all of the girls. Wish my computer had cooperated so I could have added to the photos, but Ghosty did a great job with his.

@ Mari - Lots of fun last night at the "Fuego" lol and thanks for setting off the fireworks! I can't believe we spent so much time there dancing around that fire.

As for all else, my new motto is "I don't know what you're all talking about so here's a picture of me with a pancake on my head" (thanks to Ghosty, who made me this tres chic hat and if my video card were better, the photo would show it off better but this isn't too bad):

Didn't Honeybear do that already?

Pep (or was that for Tiny Empires?)

No, that was for Virtual Freebies :)

Awww, thanks Elora! I wish I could say that show was representative of other fashion shows in SL, but it's not. It's a lot "looser" in structure, and usually, minimally attended, as you may have noticed. I've been in shows where there were 60 people on the sim and it's miserable, in terms of lag. I rather enjoy doing these shows for Phassion, where it's not as laggy.

Ghosty did a terrific job on the pictures. I had Gavyn take a few of the outfit you missed, if you want to look at my flickr.

Gorgeous! I have to say those silks were nothing like the ones I'm used to seeing. I'd wear several of them, and I'm totally not into those things usually. That peacock inspired one really caught my eye - reminded me of an outfit Four Yip did which I have, more burlesque than silk actually.

Is there a notecard available where to purchase them?

I have a card listing all the outfits with designer's names. Kick me, and I'll drop it on you tonight.

The peacock one was gorgeous. If I actually wore silks, I'd buy that in in a heartbeat!

The bacon are the stockings to the egg dress I modeled a few weeks ago :) I intend to re-do the photo with this hat at some point ;)

Been playing with Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements (I can't afford the full versions) the last couple of weeks. Had a video to show but youtube wouldn't allow it due to the music I used. :(

Anyway, while looking at the tutorials online it seemed odd that they were done with Quicktime when Adobe owns the Flash system. No real point to this post, just rambling.

And good morning peeps. :)

@ Honey: you looked FABULOUS in silks, and congrats on a job well done at the fashion shows this weekend. :)

@ Ghosty: great pics!! And good job on the pancake beret for Elora. I love it! Also - thanks for the call to FUEGO yesterday afternoon. I had a great time dancing around the ceremonial fire.

@ Elora: Your new beret looks excellent. Tres chic! In keeping with the French motif, I'm calling it a crepe. :p (and I loved that we both were wearing the same boots. :) )

I've been away from the forum for a few days and haven't even attempted to catch up at all yet, but I just had to comment.

"Bacon earrings" was just what I needed to see to kick me into gear on a sluggish Monday morning. :D

Who doesn't love bacon? It's like candy made out of meat!

@ Honey- did you get pix of you in the Peacock ones? Hera wants to see if they are like the ones she wears :) You looked awesome, btw- I loved the Petals ones.

Thanks Mo....were you there? :X

When I'm on the runway, I really don't have time to look out and see who is there.

I didn't model the peacock ones...only the three shown in the pictures.

I'll let you know who the designer was tonight, as well.

And the Petals were my favorite, as well :)

Okay I totally adore the pancake beret. Let us know when you get the whole breakfast ensemble out!

I'm really and truly off to bed now, after chatting with Eveline on line. Love to all! *wave*
