Small town...our choices are pretty much WalMart and K-Mart.

I don't blame you. That's part of the problem. They drive out competition in smaller areas so you are stuck. I'd drive 50 miles in the snow before shopping there.

oh, that's a shame for those who own. :( but they are becoming class 5, so won't they now be just like mainland, 'cept with all those extra prims?

They are already class 5. LL underpriced them to begin with. Fine, no problem, raise the rates....ONGOING. Grandfather the ones who are already in place.

It isn't surprising, unfortunately. It's obvious that LL doesn't give a crap about the "Regular" users anymore. SL is now simply just a service, one that it's owners plan on milking for every dollar they can get.

perhaps 50% of the time the message is being delivered in a incomprehensible manner.
3Ring (just sayin')
(edit: thank you, Ann)

Perhaps that would be the rationale of the 50% who also have trouble with the word incomprehensible.

Pep (I *was* talking about the cats but if the cap fits . . .)

No snow here yet, only more mist. We do, however, have Xmas decorations up in the stores; ugh.

For Brenda and Pep:

Not mine, but way cute. :)

/me is reminded of the dullard's response to the question "What's the difference in meaning between 'incomprehensible' and 'apathetic'.

I love you.

There was a crash outside a few minutes ago.....another big branch came down in my driveway, this one right in front of my car. Ans even bigger one came down up the street, blocking the road. This is really heavy, wet snow. Yuck!.

I own a full sim, and an openspace sim. Last night, LL announced on the blog that they were increasing the tier on OS sims from $75/mo to $125/mo.

I use my sim as my residence only...well, other than Rioko, who lives there too. There are cuddle trees, and swings, and a volcano. That's it. Haven't used all my allocated prims, not overly scripted...and many other OS sims are the same way. But a few bozos out there have overutilized their sims. Some jackass figured out how to get 6000 prims out of an OS sim, instead of 3750. So, LL raised the tier effective January 1, and there will be NO grandfathering. I'll have no option but to abandon...and lose the $250 I paid to buy it in the first place.

Oh nooooo We will be homeless??!!!!:( Damn it.
