Don't go to Wal-Mart...they've had their main Christmas area set up for a couple of weeks here.

ours is still pushing halloween, but the isles were a mess and practically bare.

I've never set foot inside a WalMart, and don't plan on doing so in the near future.

in a 'big' (LOLOL) town about an hour from here we have only those same two options. the walmart keeps a full parking lot, and Kmart is usually have about 10-20 cars - literally. Kmart charges a cheaper price for the same crap.

guess where i shop when i need bulk cat food or a garden hose?

But, as a Super Wal-Mart, it has driven most of our shops and a couple grocery stores out of business...I'm not even sure how much longer the K-Mart will continue to struggle along. Given that the next largish town with additional options is more than an hour away and is pretty much unreachable during half to three-quarters of the year due to our fun weather, sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and go to WalMart.

I own a full sim, and an openspace sim. Last night, LL announced on the blog that they were increasing the tier on OS sims from $75/mo to $125/mo.

I use my sim as my residence only...well, other than Rioko, who lives there too. There are cuddle trees, and swings, and a volcano. That's it. Haven't used all my allocated prims, not overly scripted...and many other OS sims are the same way. But a few bozos out there have overutilized their sims. Some jackass figured out how to get 6000 prims out of an OS sim, instead of 3750. So, LL raised the tier effective January 1, and there will be NO grandfathering. I'll have no option but to abandon...and lose the $250 I paid to buy it in the first place.

Luckily Super WalMarts have kept out of Jersey so far.But in any event they will never see a dime from me.
