From: Maureen Boccaccio punkin!! That stinks...but so glad it missed your car. We have got to get you a car made of titanium or something. No chance of a carport?
(Edit: just saw that you were talking about this with Vamp.) Actually the second branch DIDN'T miss, so I know have matching dents. I kind of wish the big one would just come down and total it now, so I can just get a new one.

From: Kaimi Kyomoon No you really can't blame anyone for shopping or working there. But I'd rather support stores that don't seem to be creating and perpetuating the need for a huge class of underpaid workers as employees and customers. It's good to hear that you are doing ok. (You must live in a place where the cost of living is considerably less than it is here.) It is a shame that some people who who have positions of power in some labor unions and some who claim to represent unions engage in shady practices but if it weren't for the labor movement of the early 20th century and the power that organized labor clings to today most of us would pretty much be slaves. And if it weren't for the union busting and anti-union propaganda of the last thirty years U.S. workers would today be enjoying a lot more prosperity (and fat cats a bit less) than we are. (The few Costco's I've shopped at have been staffed by seemingly fully human people.) It's hard to imagine as I sit by my open window looking out at blue skies. I'll cross my fingers that you and your possessions make it through the storm intact. Sadly a lot of that union busting was done with the help of the union leaders. I've never been to Costco, I shop at BJ's and Target mostly.

From: HoneyBear Lilliehook I own a full sim, and an openspace sim. Last night, LL announced on the blog that they were increasing the tier on OS sims from $75/mo to $125/mo. I use my sim as my residence only...well, other than Rioko, who lives there too. There are cuddle trees, and swings, and a volcano. That's it. Haven't used all my allocated prims, not overly scripted...and many other OS sims are the same way. But a few bozos out there have overutilized their sims. Some jackass figured out how to get 6000 prims out of an OS sim, instead of 3750. So, LL raised the tier effective January 1, and there will be NO grandfathering. I'll have no option but to abandon...and lose the $250 I paid to buy it in the first place. sell it, starting now. i'm very sorry. that sux. =/

From: Pserendipity Daniels Perhaps that would be the rationale of the 50% who also have trouble with the word incomprehensible. Pep (I *was* talking about the cats but if the cap fits . . .) see? you made my point. YOU weren't clear. i thought you mean BOTH cats and women. hmmmmmmmmm

From: Kaimi Kyomoon My husband and I had to go there a few years ago when we needed an emergancy car battery at midnight. It was full of young couples with small children. Obviously people who work multiple jobs and odd shifts have to shop at non-traditional times but it was quite surreal. There are plenty of reasons not to shop there. http://www.laborresearch.org/print.php?id=391 http://wakeupwalmart.com/facts/sounds like Vegas. you can go out at 3am (or any time) to the grocery and find a mom in a business suit and briefcase pulling her kids in a cart, on her way to work (or home) as if it were the middle of the day. i think it's just wierd. there are people everywhere, all the time, at any time. you can't get away from them. ever. i hate it.

From: Brenda Connolly I am considering it. I have to have a new driveway done anyway, so I might look into it. ACK! I'd die without my garage!! No getting up super early to scrape the snow & ice off. No Soap or Eggs on Halloween. No frickin' way the lil' teeny-boppers can steal anything inside it

From: Arcane Clawtooth EDIT: As for Costco, sorry but I like being treated as a human being, not a "cog in the machine" as I was called when I worked at one briefly. Their are no humans there, only machines keeping the store running, easily replaceable. the people doing the registers always seem to be on the verge of a breakdown. they never smile or chat, and they act nervous. LOL

no, wait. i don't really know what it means. Pep is human, right? I'm half cat and half demon that mixed together looks enough like a human that I can pass. So not canablism. Of course now that I have the taste of human meat, I might stop trying to eat the bunny eared one, or the bunny one for that matter (like the other night, was it last night? gah I'm out of it) and eat humans. Well. . . they complain too much. I think I'll stick with non-humans. I mean who wants to hear "waaitt . . why . . what . . did you just eat my shoe? whoa . . . that's a lot of blood on your mouth . . um . . where'd my foot go? Do you know? Gosh darn it, I'm having a conversation here, stop . . . .Stop eating my leg! I'm trying to ask you if you know what happened to my foot! Oh. No matter, now. I have no legs. Right, I'll have to get a specalized walking . . . gah . . well, can't be a wheelchair. Something just removed my arms and hands. Pull myself along with my teeth, I guess. Right, well I'll be seeing you . . whoa, did you just . . . ." Granted the bunny last tonight was a lot of hard work to catch. So I gave up. And he ran up and hit me in my foot. So I causally turned my head and ate Crazod the bunny. He didn't complain once. As I was eating him. Granted, all these granteds, shesh, right, granted he was a mouthful, no more. Nothing to complain as I was eating him. Wait, you didn't really want to talk food, did you? I know humans can be bizarely interested in certain subjects and then wham, they look greenish and like they are not fit to eat. WWaaait a minute. I get it now! You are just setting yourselves up so I won't want to eat you! My, I didn't realize humans were that intelligent (removed, somewhat, by their inability to realize that they do not need arms and legs to operate a wheelchair). Well, I haven't eaten anything since Crazod last night and Pep this morning, so I'm off to eat .. . oh . . I am not certain yet. Maybe Denver. no one needs Denver, right? I can eat it?

From: 3Ring Binder /me begs Lexxi for a little sample of that medication she's on. Sadly, I am just that insane. No medication in me. Which reminds me. I probably should take something. Or have taken something. Bunny didn't react well to living in my stomach Burst forth and then river danced on the roof of the hangout. Size of a giant tentacle monster at that point. I think that was the bunny. I do not recall eating a tentalce monster.
