Ok...dumb question.

Does the camera have built-in memory, and an sd slot? If so, are the pictures actually on the card, or in the camera's memory? Or can you move them from the card into the camera's built-in memory?

If they are in the camera's memory, then you can format the card, and move them to the card. Then pop it in your computer. (I'm guessing).

the camera only holds 1- pics on its hd. those and the rest are on the disc.

I have several responses... In no particular order-

fishing is not to be explained- if u don t get u never will, for the record- I don't get it. Fish belong in fish tanks or sushi bars- the in betweens are wasted time.

Damn people who demand attention- don't they know if the gave some they wouldn't have to demand any back- why the hell are we here in the first place?

If you can view the pictures on the camera then definitely don't format anything. Another way you may be able to test: most Wally-worlds have a kiosk in the electronic section for printing pictures from digital media. Stick the card in and see if that can read it. You don't have to buy any prints just go far enough to see if it can pull up any of your pictures from the card. If so, the reader in your comp is likely dead. (broken pin or such). Buying a USB cable for the camera, or just another card reader (USB) would be options. If the connector on the camera is the really really tiny one, those cables can be oddly $$$. Or replacing the internal reader in your comp if you're up for it.

ETA: you said "card" and not "stick" so I'm assuming it's a Compact Flash? If so, a broken pin is still my best guess. But if it's one of the other kinds of camera memory sticks they don't use pins. They have surface contacts. In which case dust is the lead suspect. Give the reader a quick blow job. :D

Good morning, threadies - it's the weekend!

Wow...quite the SL Friday night; first a bunch of folks just "happened" to show up at the Erotica Expo :eek: (thanks for the slurl, Lil :D), then I looked at some land and some houses, and finally, a group headed out for some SERIOUS retail therapy at SLink and Blacklace (my thanks to all the ladies who accompanied me :)).

Off to see what RL has in store for me today. Enjoy!
