okay, i need real help. please. i beg.
i want to take pics of my new kitten before he gets any bigger. my camera's digital memory card says i have to format it so i can't retrieve the pics off of it , and i don't want to lose them.
if anyone has a webby addy or knows firsthand how to get those pics off, i would love the help. thank you.

If you have a USB cable that connects your camera to the computer, you should also have, or can download from your camera maker's website, some driver software. Install that, then connect your camera up, and download the pictures from the camera to your computer. If you have a memory card reader on your computer (a lot of printers have them, and some flat panel monitors, too), then take the memory card out of the camera, insert it in the reader. The computer will see the card as a new removable media drive. Just copy all the data in there into a new folder on your hard drive.

Some more pictures of me in front of my own art (the artwork clothing was not made by me, neither created by me, nor based on paintings by me. One is based on a work by Juan Miro (Barcelona). I do not have an artist name for the Tropical Splendor one).

If so, are the pictures actually on the card, or in the camera's memory? Or can you move them from the card into the camera's built-in memory? If they are in the camera's memory, then you can format the card, and move them to the card. Then pop it in your computer. (I'm guessing).

I'm assuming that there ARE pics on the card now? You can see them, using the camera's playback function? First, make SURE that those pics are actually on the CARD, not on the camera's internal memory. (If they are on internal memory, then you are nearly home free...just format the card, transfer the pics to the card, read it with your PC.) If the pics are on the card, try using it in another computer/card reader. If that doesn't work, the only thing I can suggest is MAKE the USB cable option happen...go buy a cable or something. If you format the card, as your PC is asking you to, you'll lose the pics for sure. (Ha...Jerry beat me to it)

So....what's everyone's weekend SL plans? (because if I'm going to stalk someone, I need to know where they're going to be!) Unless inspiration hits me, I'll probably just find a sandbox, plop down on my barrel, and play with prims.
