I'm actually down there fairly often . I have family in Annapolis and Bowie, and some friends in Bel Air, Silver Spring and Laurel. I'm always going to the Smithsonian and usually stop in at RFD Washington for a few pints.

HEY!!

Oh - wait. You meant Little Washington. Yeah - what a dump. We here in the real Washington are embarrassed. We want them to change their name to Adams DC or Jefferson DC or something like that.

Ahem. Little Washington is Washington, Virginia. You're the "other" Washington, you know, like the other white meat. :p

i once took out this old robe i used to wear, because my current one (at the time) was in the laundry. if i remember correctly, it was stored in a bag with some other stuffs i didn't want anymore, and stuffed over near the camping items.... in the spare bedroom closet. i'm sure it had been there for at least 6 months. well, i put it on and was walking around, and a little later something dark caught my lower periphreal vision down at my chest... i looked down and staring up at me was a wolf spider. the screaming was not high pitched, but something that came from deep within (sort of like that fellow on Home Alone) and i can't remember anything after that... apparantly i began running chaotically and randomly hit my head on the upper kitchen cabinets and knocked myself out. LOL

OMG...I am laughing so hard...sorry...

But I know exactly how you felt.

Missed that thread. Or posting my picture in it. One or the other, or some third option unspecified.

I couldn't stand watching it all the way through once.....
Really? I thought it looked awful from the trailers but people kept telling me I'd like it and they were right.

oh ha! car stories! so? was there screaming involved?

i almost drove off the road once (quite a few years ago now) when a little teeny spider came down out of the visor and onto the sterring wheel. i don't think i screamed very much, i can't remember now, but i certainly tried to get away from it.... which is bad since i was the one operating the car. LOL
Lol. No no we were both VERY cool about it. I'm pretty sure in his case it wasn't even an act, even though it was on his leg.

From: Brenda Connolly
That goes for any big city. As long as I can't see them I'm ok. Kinda like cats...... ;)
I just remembered another cockroach story. When I was managing a pretty nice restaurant someone found a roach in their salad. Man did I grovel. I comped everything at the table and gave them coupons to come back again for free.

since the pillow-talk items are so popular, we decided to release a line of furniture-foo pillows. the pillows are texture-changing, animation-changing, and also use the ani adjustment system. there are both ground and chair sit anis, so they can be used either on the ground or on a sofa/chair.

i will send a couple gratis to my fellow never-ending thread participants. just send me an IM and i will drop them on you when i log in.

in addition, i have a habit of dropping items on people that i see in the cartel hud, so if you get an inv dialogue from me, thats what its all about ;)

Good morning, threadies! (good afternoon, Claire :))

Yay, it's Wednesday! Glad this signals the end of your work week, Claire.
(/sneaks in a *shakes fist* :p)

For many in the U.S., this upcoming weekend is a 3-day weekend...do y'all have plans? Me - I plan to start decorating my RL house for...wait for it... HALLOWEEEEEEEEN.

Here's a little something to get your day started (or to snack upon):

(might be a repeat offering...looks familiar to me)

Thanks for the lovely breakfast Maureen.

I sure do have plans, which you know about. Going to p/u Ghosty and bring him to the hellhole that is NJ. Oh wait. No. Let me rephrase that. Going to p/u Ghosty and take him FROM the hellhole that is Baltimore and bring him to the lovely and beautiful Garden State :p .

We will then rezz, ummm, no, UNPACK - his many prim, ummm no, CARDBOARD boxes. Then, we will sit on a couples poseball, ummm, no a CUSHION, yes a couch with a real cushion and relax for the rest of the weekend. No particular plans, we'll play that by ear. Maybe we'll head into NYC and hang out, we've been wanting to see the new light show at the Planetarium pretty badly.

Oh and I really hope to be able to get cracking on my photo. I hope he'll be able to fix my laptop well enough for me to pump that thing out by next week. If not, is the 15th REALLY the deadline or is there a small leeway? I'm usually so prompt about things but this computer issue really screwed me up :(

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Actually Ann, there are llama farms in upstate NY :D We've both come across them in our separate travels. Once, I was with my ex, and had to go to the bathroom REAL badly. We were kind of lost, just driving in the Catskills somewhere. Saw a farm, drove up the driveway. There were llamas roaming all over the place. How odd! Apparently, it's a big thing, raising them for their "fur" for sweaters. Anyway, the guy was real nice, let me use his bathroom and we left but not before I went over to hang w/the llamas for a bit :)

Who knew, all these years later, I'd be living with one LOL.

And thus began the Llama addiction :)

Will you learn to card and spin now with your very own llama at home?

A totally fantasticly great animations place. Very creative- for example, instead of pose balls- pose daisies! If you look closely at the pictures of Mo and I in Damien's cage the other day, you will see a little yellow daisy one of us is sitting on. That is if you can make your self look at those again...I know how terribly distracting they were...
