My company doesn't count Columbus Day as particularly important either but come on- Cesar Chavez? Edited to add that while workers rights are important it hardly seems a major holiday inducing event.

That's Labor Day.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Rawrrrr! I came into the office today and closed my door (to keep the boss out). I've been working on finishing up some bankruptcies because they're totally piling up on me and the boss just keeps piling more scrap on my desk. So...I locked him out.
Well he just opened my door and walked right in! How ruuuuude! Asked me if I was feeling antisocial today. I told him yes, get out.

He has distracted me to the point that I needed a forum break.

maybe Ghosty has a puter you can borrow.... ;)

No. Lol. He already told me he's very possessive of his let alone he uses it way more than I use mine due to his blogging/writing too. Although he said he *might* let me use it.

I'm going to have to do some serious girly stuff to make him change his mind on that one ;)

Ah- gotcha- I thought you were thinking I had confused Columbus day date :)

And I agree with you re the Labor Day thing as commemorating everyone's hard work- regardless of field hand or white collar. However- if they are willing to pay me to stay home, I might consider cockroach day.. uhm- no, nvm...

If anyone hasn't seen the Palace of Versailles it is definitely worth visiting. We still haven't seen it all yet.

Morning everyone. :)

Great pic, Damien. Good morning from the cage.

wow...look at the wings on that butterfly...almost looks as it they have a design cut into them. (which, of course, would not help the butterfly at all, aerodynamically speaking :p)

If you go through a local bank with good partners, you can still find some that have money to lend. I haven't checked rates this week, but if you have good credit, you should be able to find a good rate as well. It depends on what your current financing situation is and whether you need to pull equity right now.
