Mo, sounds like the Renaissance Festival was a blast. i hope you took some pics! i went to one once when i was a teenager. i got food poisoning, and i was so sick i swore i'd never go back again... but i think i might some day although i don't think i would ever dress up. it was fun, and i might appreciate the flavor of it much more now that i understand RP a little more. thank you SL. for some reason, i also remember the Queen being very ugly.

Lil, i'm jealous you got to go shooting with your kid. hubby and the kid crew go out every so often, but lately i don't get invited. i think they shoot critters after they get bored with the targets, and that would absolutely not fly with me and they probably don't want to hear the nagging.

ferrets are cute. but they stink!

we just got back from a big camping weekend at the river with a huge group.... IN THE RAIN! well, it only rained Friday night and most of the day Saturday, but that sucked! it was warm though. warm and wet. i think our tent is the only one that did not leak! but then, i've done this 'camping in the rain thing' before, and i know the right kind of tent to buy, how to prep for it, etc. and i'm pretty sure hubby does not want to ever ever endure the wrath of my anger of putting my foot in a cold wet shoe on the 4am poddy walk.

now we are home, and i had to crank up the central heat. brrrrr it's frikkin cold. i guess it snowed up on the pass, and i believe it. it feels like winter out there. it's only been a couple of days, and i miss the 90*+ weather already.

anyway, my animals are happy to see us, and i will be happy to sleep in my warm snugly bed with pillows (i forgot to take some) and blankets and cats.

and i am happy to see my computer. i didn't miss my routine while i was gone, but sitting here now, i'm feeling all nostalgic n stuff. LOL

hmm- maybe- but have u ever cared for hamsters, guinea pigs and meeces? Little white meeces are the cutest critters...then they pee in ur hand.. come to think of it- so do little green froggies... I seem to have a history of critters peeing in my hand- blech!

they are all fun to look at from afar, but i don't like crawly things on me... hamsters scare the crap out of me. i like snakes and lizards and frogs, but no rodents shall touch me of my own free will. if they happen to, there will be screaming and chaos involved, i assure you.

Her typist obviously does as well, but she still looks to me like one of her parents was a large-headed gray alien...the body is super skinny and long-legged too - even for SL - which makes the resemblance stronger.


She shouldn't have brought the Flying Monkeys into it...but, damn, beating someone to death with her own leg is a lot of work!

Awwws, you are so naturally kind 3Ring. It will be difficult not seeing all of those dogs again, but I have some great pictures to remind me of them, and it's so good to share them all and rejoice in good times, as we now know.... I particularly miss the youngest one, who was practically at death's door, having almost starved himself to death for two years, but with a little TLC from me over a few weeks, he was almost back to a normal weight, and seemed happy and relaxed, and mysterious-injury free. I do miss him!



I know - isn't this simply wonderful! I love that model of motorcycle and I thoroughly approve of retail therapy, even in uncertain economic times, especially when it is with someone else's money! I hope this new toy brings much joy, and although it is probably best to get past it all, if the new owner must think of the past every time she revs that beast up, it's fine by me. To fit all of the dogs, I would suggest getting a VW Beetle as well - they are a great runaround for town and country too!

I love lizards and snakes and crawly things- not big on worms though i will go out of my way to save their lives. The only thing that makes me run out of the room in search of deadly reprisals is roaches. Hammies are cool - the midgets can be dangerous - in so much as teeny sharp teeth can hurt- they are not furry piranhas after all- but the bigger breeds are tame. Reason I would not have snakes is cause they wd eat meeces That and that husband has a ridiculous hate for them and wd kill them on sight- we have had huge arguments with me standing between him and the likely death of a snake- but we met crawling on the floor to save a lizard in an office 20 years ago )

Yeah, I know what you mean! It's been over for a long time, and publishing photographs of our dogs will not bring me back , no matter how much I miss them. I hope the poster can finally get over all that happened, and move on to a great life.

It must be terrible knowing that you can only get by in life using other people's money, but I am sure one gets used to it eventually. Maybe I should send $50 in the post for a nice bottle of wine if things are tough right now.
