Ah, I see. Well, kudos on the spiffy presentation.

This thing called technology is supposedly here to aid us, but often ends up robbing us of time and sanity (although I am quite happy no longer having to use an overhead projector:)).

Saw in another thread where someone was struggling with uploading music to SL in the prerequisite 10 second clips. UGH!

yikes! that could be v bad for some people....I'm on an NVidia GeForce 8400, so although this could be an issue for me, my comp seems to be well cooled, and it's a desktop, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed lol.

You're *probably* fine. The 8400 produces relatively low heat. That's the thing bugging me the most tho is because nv won't come right out and admit exactly what is/isn't wrong it's all left to others to speculate.
