I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Are you sure it's natural fermentation?

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

They worked! If I can script it in time, I will have my very own copy for the party lol.

Never underestimate the power of a woman begging :p

Now I just have to get back to finishing it lol

Morning Threaps - I wouldn't worry about falling off page one overnight- we can always rescue it. Even Mac's paddles won't be necessary since he left us- we know we exist regardless- if folks contribute over night they are welcome to but we won't die without it - there are plenty of daysiders and the night folk that do wander in from time to time.

Happy 29th, Lil ! !

Meanwhile, good news for me.
The roofer just came by to quote me for re-shingling. It's going to cost about a third less than I thought and he thinks it can wait until Spring. Yay, me.
That's one less worry (in case of a strike next week) on my mind this weekend.

Thanks Brann - Yep, 29 and holding. Actually, if I was going to hold at a specific year, it would be at 31. I think I looked and felt my absolute best that year and had the most fun.

And Yay on the roofing. We finally had to replace the furnace this year that we have been delaying for the last 2 years -- but heck, it was 18 years old, so we made it continue crawling long past when it should have been in the grave.

I'm here in the very same Cascade Mountain Range as Trout, sort of, training at 4000 feet. Or to be more accurate perhaps, finding out that training at sea level hasn't made me quite as fit as I'd flattered myself I was getting.
When you get yourself going good there, you can come visit me and train here -- I live at 6200 (though where I am at right now is about 9000 and the base of where I ski is 10,000).

By the time I got here my ill daughter was out of the hospital and feeling almost normal again, thanks for all your good wishes. ....
Sorry to hear about the kid and court issue, but glad that the health stuff is now good.

So I had some time to read back quite a bit of the thread but I think I missed something about the calendar. Is is out and for sale now? I won't be able to go in world until I get back to my own computer.
Someone has probably already replied to this - the Calendar is now hanging on the west wall of the Hangout and you can buy a copy for L$100, which will go to charity.

While I've been gone my other step-daughter, in S.D., gave birth to my 6th grandchild. :)
CONGRATS!!!!

I think you were probably supposed to be avoiding us. :D
Hmmm, so I might have gotten some bad advice huh? Oh well, too bad - I'm staying.

Feline and I want to thank everyone who dropped in to the open house last night. We had 30 people there at one time. The sim held up pretty well, some script lag but nothing worse than you get in any sim with 30 people in it.

I am glad everyone got to see Feline's hard work. If you couldn't make it last night, the sim is open for exploration at any time.

...... and the thread is still going... I am having a hard time catching up or maybe keeping up is more appropriate.

.d
Yeah, keeping up is hard enough, but catching up after even just a few days of missing stuff is almost impossible - here I will summarize:

- Lots of folks said 'Hi', 'Good Morning', 'Good Evening', etc....
- Maureen served some really yummy breakfasts and helped us wake up by supplying the coffee.
- Damien wowed us with lots of beautiful flower pics and a few others sometimes tossed in some other really nice nature shots.
- Claire was off the internet for a while due to technical difficulties, but has finally come back to us -- party at her place next weekend to celebrate this fact.
- Brenda is still keeping us smiling with her short but witty comments
- Ann shares her fab photo shots with us
- Quite a few lolcats and loldogs to amuse the masses
- The forum ladies finished their calendar shots and Oryx slaved away to put it all together. If you like, it is hanging on the west wall of the Hangout and you can buy a copy for L$100, with all proceeds going to charity.

I think I got the majority of it. Of course there have been a variety of big and little drama moments, but it is best to forget those anyway.

Oh, and we have had a few run away - some to SLU and some just needed a break.
