Mine were with a cell phone- so sorry for quality or lack thereof.

OK, Amara, for a minute there, I thought that was a real person in the first pic. LOL.

And those trees...are they banyan trees? (I know very little about horticulture.)

wow!! That's a remarkable photo, Yosef. Scary, but remarkable!

It was from a couple of years ago. This lady in our Midland office took it out of her window.

We do get hard moving fronts with blowing dirt all the time but it is rare that they are so well defined.

Incredible pic...from her window!!! Yikes.

I know it wasn't a tornado, but that pic made me think of one. I have to say that I've never been close to where a tornado is touching down/did touch down (thankfully), but...I am fascinated by twisters...

The guy and the burro are fiberglass :)

I believe the trees are banyans yes- the Gables is full of them- they make beautiful covered arches as you drive down the street.

Since everyone else is posting pics of their home town ...

ah ... another nice spring day in west Texas ..

this pic is both beautiful and sad, to me.

i had a neighbor who once lived in the LA area... she and her son were in a car, and in the car in front of them drove her husband and their daughter. they had just come from giving blood for some catastrophe, when they were met with a sand storm on Hiway 99 in California. i'm guessing 15-20 years ago or something. anyway, she watched her husband and daughter be killed by a semitruck that swerved to miss some other car, as tail lights became suddenly invisible and things of this nature.

it was a very tragic story, and i have never forgotten that neighbor and her plight.

Bewitched has a sister store, House of Heart. Both worth checking out. Interesting styles, nice movement and colors. And, they give out a lot of freebies too :) Join their subscribomatics.
Both stores do give lots of freebies and also usually have similar events but not at the same time and usually not the same hair/color, so it is good to be part of both groups.

I find the hairlines on their hair very odd, like they start too far back from the forehead...Ann with a receding hairline is not cute.

I am bumping you to an 8.5 on the Official Trout Measuring Instrument of Sluttiness. You are an enigma - on the one hand a sweet, gentle, intelligent woman who we would like to wrap up in our arms and protect, and on the other, a temptress to whom we would like to do all sorts of unmentionable things.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

Bull hockey. Ann bald and Ruthed is still cute. Beauty has more to do with the heart of the player than the shape of the avatar.

Agreed, for the most part. However, when I find a good one there, they tend to wind up being some of my favorites. Kind of hit and miss.

I have found a few that way, but only some seem to fit me odd in the front. Also, some of the curls look more like frizzies, but since they give away so much and have such great sales, I usually find it worthwhile to grab some of their hair.

It's probably an old joke, but one of the engineers here showed me this.

That sounds like a rather brutal approach.

I make you personally responsible for the impending burst of my inventory box by informing me of this.

I SO did not need to hear about this. It's surely going to blow up my computer

agrees with this. i say we strap Ann to the bumper of the SUV we will need to get in!

The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps. You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

I am really bad about writing things that can sound wrong.

Thank you for that laugh.

Thank you. My wife sent it to me in an email the other day so I stole it from her :) Not sure who she got it from, though.
