From: Maureen Boccaccio Antonio Banderas and Kirsten Dunst were the best parts of IWAV. Still shuddering from Tom Cruise and his scary blond hair!! i am a firm believer in 'buying into the plot" before you even sit down to watch a show. i don't believe in vampires in RL of course, and i don't think Tom Cruise is very good in any movie, but i totally bought in to IWAV. i found it deep and memorable. true about TC being a blonde though. *bleah*

Ditto- gross out factor inhibited me - also never cared for Beavis and Buthead- don't like bathroom humor

From: Kaimi Kyomoon You were in CA! Your pics are beautiful. My brother lives in NoCal and I lived up there with him for a while, not too far from Bodega Bay. I love the coast up there. I took a lot pictures of all the tall buildings and interesting architecture in downtown L.A. and then I realized that if I could only be quick enough there were a lot of good pictures of people all around me too, but mostly I wasn't quick enough. as far as i can tell, California has everything mother nature has to offer. as of this writing, i see no reason to travel elsewhere for such beauty. maybe So Cal next time. and I'd love to dip into Tiawana at leat once in my life. i'm a big fan of architecture too. my own home speaks volumes for my love of angles and odd corners. LOL

He really ruined the movie for me overall though. Then again, I think - have always thought - he's a horrible actor and I'd happily stab him for some of the psychotic statements he's made in recent years.

Congratulations and shame on you! You are a bit of a slut.

/Don't you do slashies here? Well I'm not, for one thing he appears (in my opinion) to be mad as a box of frogs, and for the other I'm on record has having disagreed with almost everything he ever said. In fact the point I most vehemently disagreed with was his view that people should be mocked and disregarded based on his perception of their IQ and communication skills. Sometimes though I think there's quite a lot of traffic going in the other direction. I've noticed a few times that people (including me) tend to take a wee beating if they use words of more than one syllable. Now I know it's a pain in the bum if someone sounds like they've just used the MS Thesaurus on every word simply with the aim of doing you down. I'm not in that category, I just use what I think is the right word for the occasion.. and only use the thesaurus for every second word. Sorry if I was a bit.. beligerent with FD, but again in my defense.. it pretty much smacked of a passive-aggressive tirade.. "people who display your behaviour are complete b*stards.. but I'm not talking about you.. honest I'm not ...you b*stard". In any event I do apologise to FD, if I misunderstood his post. B

From: Amaranthim Talon So agree- what were they thinking? probably that at the time, TC was the biggest name and they thought it'd help sales. From: someone Re land- I just bought a few 16m's for stupid prices just to rescue them- still need to figure how to add to my castle land since they are not contiguous. Someone answered awhile ago re camming out and joining that way but i haven't tried it. that was me, and yes that's how to do it. just make sure your big land is the last thing you join to, so everything adopts THAT name and traffic count, and LM for picks.

To Bartlebuss- FD would not have said something unkind to you- he just gets into grumpy moods -don't mess with FD- he has belligerent moods at times but we all love him and take care of him and help him thru the grumps til he is happy again- he is a great and helpful member of our community- all around not just the Thread.

From: Skell Dagger I've just had a gorgeous lamb and veggie soup and I'm sitting here cradling a mocha like it's a lifeline and feeling in need of an afternoon nap to sleep off that food. Eek! Does this mean I'm getting old? sound so yummy. last night i made fresh chile rellanos and chicken in a chile gravy, and today i am a hurting unit. i hate when things 'hurt me'. ugh.

From: Kaimi Kyomoon I'm pretty sure this is a case of miscommunication. To me it seemed the first part of FD's post was meant only to assure you that he took what you said in good part. I think his musing on the kind of attitude that he might not enjoy so much was meant as a contrast to what you said, which FD wanted you to know he was ok with. Or I'm way off base... I don't want to be too presumptuous but until FD gets back I felt as if I should say something because I think I know him a little. you are so much more patient, kind and tolerant than i can ever hope to be. you are one classy lady.

From: 3Ring Binder wut is it? It's a HUD you wear that enables your av to swim, dive, tread water, etc. COOOOOOOL The earlier version stopped working correctly after Havok 4; the new version does work. There are other swim HUDs around, too Gabriele mentioned she has one that she loves!
