I must admit until now I had imagined that Trout did these as he was either dancing and/or chatting with you all at the ... that place ...

Do you get a certificate? Whats the highest rating given so far?

Soji the Kitty was cute. He just wasn't slutty. There's a difference. I have never rated anyone on beauty. The lowest rating I have ever given a woman was to a woman who is every bit as beautiful as the highest. The scale rates sluttiness. All of the women I have rated have been beautiful (and the only reason I haven't rated you, like your sig says, is because you never asked)

For the benefit of the newer people (and just to establish that I'm not a complete dirtbag), the whole thing came out of one of those threads where someone (not me) said something like, "Why are all the women in SL such a bunch of sluts!!11!11!!!!! They all dress slutty!! BLAH!! Jesus hates sluts!!"

The thread got the predictable responses. At some point, as a gag, I offered to rate women based on how slutty they were by using my highly accurate and scientific, patented Trout Slut Rating Algorithym. No room for objectivity - pure math and science. It involves me flipping a coin to generate a random number, then clearing my mind with illegal internet poker and bourbon, then going through a complex equation based on numbers I pull out of my ass, then generating a rating with a full explanation of how I arrived at that number.

It started off as a complete joke. Then I started getting pictures. Then it kind of took off. Now it's something else, but I'm not sure what. All I know is that I really enjoy writing them up and when I see excerpts from my ratings in people's sigs, it makes me all warm inside because I know they got some degree of happiness out of what I wrote. That's all it is.

Except for Carli, who is incensed that the basic laws of math prevent the number 11 from preceeding the number 10 in my 0 to 10 scale. I get sort of a twisted pleasure out of denying her the 11 she wants so badly.

Totally agree with you there.

I gave out a 10 to someone very special who has an unfair advantage. The next highest was, I think, a 9.8. I'm bad at record-keeping.

You get a full rundown on what I was thinking when I arrived at your rating. It's usually a long paragraph. You see excerpts from them here and there in people's sigs. If you're a member of ...that group... you get to wear the "Trout Certified" tag (which is almost too much for my ego to take)

I think it adds greatly to the fun of the forums and I have enjoyed reading the ratings immensely when I lurked.

You don't come across as a dirt-bag at all, and I knew it was not about beauty - sluttiness is a behaviour thing, hence why I imagined you observing this behaviour at the H...place...
Clothing or lack of can be a big hint though lol

Thanks for your concern - my toes appear to have recovered. I still have all ten. (6 on one foot, 4 on the other). The offending waders have been replaced with a much nicer set that is less prone to collapsing and filling with ice water miles from the truck. Let me tell you about a really awful, long hike in the snow one January...You would think frostbite wouldn't hurt like that. The pain really hits when you start to thaw out. Bad times.

That's right. Hate got a 9.8. I only managed a 9.1. What does that say about me versus, er, me? At any rate, they both involved some nudity. Moreso for Hate, for what that's worth. Trout's idea of slutty is definitely clouded by his personal preferences... something that can be used if necessary.

My score is kept artificially low by some other slut.

It's all math. And science. But towards the upper end of the scale, one of the variables is my personal preferences. I prefer depravity. Carli must be pulling very close to a 9.8/9.9 by now. Like I said, the ten is a very special circumstance and represents a significant unfair advantage by the person who got that particular score, so for all practical purposes, I think Carli has maxed out the scale with Hate and...someone...(who got the other 9.8?) right on her heels.

This 10.0 limit is so anti-climatic , Literally.
