The Ottoman Empire was pretty cool at it's peak, too! Also some easterners invented numbers! I'm glad they did, too. Roman numerals are bullshit!

They didn't invent numbers, they invented the symbols we use to represent numbers. V and 5 are still five however you write it. I have a personal grudge against the Ottoman Empire as they killed my great grandfather at the seige of Baghdad in 1916.

does that mean we are actually all living in the past?

cause well then I had to read it after you wrote it.. so the future became the present and then by the time I read it we are now in the past..

It depends...are you children? The first part of the sentence is as important as the second!

No wonder you like money!

Also, the Ottoman Empire was well past it's prime by 1916. It was at it's peak with Suleyman I, imho.

I thought that was duct tape. :p

Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the universe together....

That's why we say "pass gas" not "present gas".

what about "break wind"? Is it really broken or can it still be repaired?

It depends on when it happened.

This is only half true ...however, I AM flabbergasted that NO ONE, NOT ONE OF YOU is behind me...now THAT is frustrating.

You all have this freak'in mob-mentality against me...you know what, I'm kinda sick of it. Not one of you has the insight, or balls to stand up for me.

Hey I only have an IQ of 73 and I don't have balls, but sure, I'll stand up for ya. You have every right to belive what you like! Says so right in The Constitution.

Money, as Samuel L Jackson says in a tv ad for Barclays Bank, "can feed the starving and empower the weak. It can buy you dance lessons. If a chicken was a dollar, would a chicken be evil?"

I think we can all take something away from that.

What the hell. There are so many negative threads on here at the moment.

Don't you gloomy people realise that negativity BREEDS more discontent, misery and gloom?

Yes things are frustrating atm but ... wow ... enough whining!

Skipped to the end just to post this in response to the OP:

What a completely pointless thing to post, Cherry. I don't know if you were aware of it or not, but this is a message forum. It's a message forum for something called Second Life. People post here with questions and concerns related to Second Life. Presently, there are many concerns regarding recent happenings in Second Life.

That doesn't mean we're all in a total panic or doing nothing else with our lives, or even that the sky is falling. It means there are problems people are naturally going to address in a forum such as this one, especially with all other means of communication save third party forums completely severed.

Doesn't say that in my country's constitution. Infact, technically, it says you're not allowed to be Catholic, but we usually tolerate them.

Sure. It'll be no match for my biplane squadron of doom.

I honestly don't know what the deal is with the turkey legs. They can't have been that prevalent in the 1400's. Maybe England was overrun by turkeys while Ireland was battling snakes. They sure are delicious, though. (the turkeys, not the snakes)

Now I have to google Bruce Campbell and Medieval cuisine.

(Still irritated at myself for reading "Bruce Willis" when you clearly said something else.)

Jeesh - my typing skills are shot, too. I'm worthless today.

I love the taste of snakes in the morning light.

It also tests if tomatoes feel pain. Apparently they do.

Surely an individual tomato would not have soul in itself? The tomato is just part of the plant. That would be like my liver having its own soul.

My liver has a soul! It's yearning for enlightenment in the form of a single malt scotch right now...

Can someone make a t-shirt for me that says "If a chicken was a dollar, would it be evil?"
