Getting us back on topic, this shot from the last forum cartel get-together should put the OP in his place.

I *feel* normal though, or, whatever is normal for me. I don't feel out of sync with the general population although my life requirements have changed over the years, I'm still meeting them.

You seem *WAY* more normal than most of us here, and by "normal" I mean well-adjusted and groovy.

you met a man who turned out to leave you with a long term disadvantage as a result of that relationship, which is pretty well is normal I would think

That's normal?

Pep (I have met some lunatic feminists in my time but you are off the scale, assuming you meant what you typed.)

Are people really this pathetic?

A lot of people exist in circumstances that, if known, would move others to feel compassion and sorrow, yes. Oh, wait - that isn't what you meant by "pathetic."

Nah, i haven't read a thing that guy is saying to be honest. Kinda hard, since it is like 70% snark, 30% Misogyny. My time would be better spent reading a SpongeBob Square Pants illustrated pop-up book. (do they make those??)

LOL. I dunno but there was a 3D Spongebob ride (in the wonderful Silicon Valley of course!) which had hardly any snarky misogyny involved.

Briana just buttering me up cause I locked horns with Pep :D

"My enemy's enemy is my friend" is not an entirely safe belief.

Pep (But feel free to espouse it if you are feeling *really* brave.)

Pep (No-one else has successfully stepped forward to match even that minimal definition of "normality".)

We're using different dictionaries, but that aside, that definition of normal sounds like a living death. Like...being an accountant or something similar. I avoid that type of normal, I find it incredibly boring.

pst, Treasure I'm a little deaf but even worse I'm colorblind! I should consider myself lucky no one has abandoned me on an ice floe!

By no means do I hold this opinion about everyone, nor is this a full out attack in any way.
f*ck yeh it's a full out attack. Don't be a bloody wimp, man, take PRIDE in your misanthropy. If you can't convince yourself that you're the first person EVER to notice this, you might have to admit that maybe you're just a jackass. Stand up for your right to be an ass, and be an ass just as hard and arrogant as you can manage.

Backpedaling? Would they backpedal on 4chan? You're not going to let a bunch of sorry web-forum slobs out-asshat you now, are you?

I agree there were some very inappropriate moments here. But it's the internets so we never know how seriously to take these.

Smith - there's not really a way I can comment on this, without being part of the fuel. I wish that we didn't have to let it go as acceptable internet behavior, or acceptable human behavior, and wish it wouldn't stand as a record of how individuals treat each other in SL.

It looked as if you deliberately skated over the part of my "definition" regarding health.

I think the definition "chauvinist pig" applies much more to you on the basis of your misandrist comment.

Pep (Chauvinism is not gender-linked.)
