The way this lot are today we could just about form a posse and go do some retribution if you like.. perhaps the sight of a dozen sl avatars nipping his ankles might teach him a lesson??

seriously though, I hope he went to jail for it if nothing else and I can think of far worse things that I'd like to visit on those who think violence is a way to solve anything.

Lemonade sounds like a good plan, although I think you've turned it into champagne.

I made a similar offer in another thread....All I have to do is make one call, and the person can be Taken Care Of.

You deserve all the recognition that you and Virtual Ability get, your response to tragedy is completely inspirational.Dude. Tune your tone to more a transatlantic vibe, this comes off as all kinds of rude to American ears -- and you were speaking to an American.

/me offers you a beer, gently helps you out of your chair, and pushes you toward the garden. Drink, sleep it off, and come back when you can type without embarrassing yourself.

I merely pointed out that Treasure did *not* satisfy my description of Mr/Mrs Normal, despite her partial claim.

Pep (That she attempted to astonished me; her misdirection has now been rectified.)

I don't think it's fun at all. Some very disturbing comments in this thread. I hope the entire thing is removed.....and FAST.

I agree there were some very inappropriate moments here. But it's the internets so we never know how seriously to take these.

Actually I find it quite upsetting ...

I was delighted because they played all day and today it's rained.

Pep (Yes, they can play for five days and *still* not get a result.)

Okay wth does QED mean?

Thank you for asking, I was just thinking the same thing

It's one of those Latin acronyms.

Quod Erat Demonstrandum, meaning "Thus it is demonstrated".

It's a fancy way of pointing back at your logic or proof, smiling, and saying, "See?"

since I feel my RL and SL avatars are pretty groovy, I forgive the flaws in myself and others pretty easily.

That argument is almost female in its incoherence.

Thanks but it's better than crying in my beer about it. It's not my nature to 'not' try to work it out and turn my own life around to my own benefit, and by chance, maybe can help someone else by my experiences. I didn't mean to hijack this thread with it. When Pep asked, I responded as I always do when someone asks. He says now that he knew all that, but he asked, I didn't even realize it was a facetious question, lol. Pep's definition of 'normality', well that's ok if I don't meet it. Not like I was trying to, and failed. :)

Better never than late eh Lindal?

I *feel* normal though, or, whatever is normal for me. I don't feel out of sync with the general population although my life requirements have changed over the years, I'm still meeting them.

Any man that would move to Silicon Valley expecting to find it full of boobies is definitely groovy in a Austin Powers way. :D

Nah, i haven't read a thing that guy is saying to be honest. Kinda hard, since it is like 70% snark, 30% Misogyny. My time would be better spent reading a SpongeBob Square Pants illustrated pop-up book. (do they make those??)

that's because you are - you met a man who turned out to leave you with a long term disadvantage as a result of that relationship, which is pretty well is normal I would think.

there are just some human beings who shouldn't be allowed to mingle with the rest of us because of the physical, financial or psychological damage they leave in their wake.

I don't meet it. Not like I was trying to, and failed. :)

It looked as if you deliberately skated over the part of my "definition" regarding health.

Pep (No-one else has successfully stepped forward to match even that minimal definition of "normality".)
