I've seen that happen many times where the price will say one thing in search, but is another when you right click and choose About Land. Again, people are not taking their time and doing their homework before buying. Still human error. When buying land on SL, you have to almost treat it like buying land in RL. That's not what this thread is about either. |

It is a cheap trick, but less people would get ripped off if they take a few extra seconds to verify everything before they buy or sell. |

Unfortunately the point is not that you won't notice the extra 0. The point is that the extra zero will not show on the buy screen. The price is changed after you open the buy page so the only information the buyer has shows the lower price but regardless he is charged the higher price if he has enough cash on hand. Of course, the person doing this created a bunch of newbie alts and new groups that he sold from so I'm not sure how avoiding landbot users helps. Besides, we're not interested in your personal land buying habits. This thread is a general warning and push for a bug fix, plus a bit of whining about landbots . _____________________
