FlipperPA Peregrine for Resmod! I don't even know him. But since it is obvious that this person is being nominated for the sole reasons that they "post on 3rd party forums a lot" and nominated because "they rock" by people FROM these other forums, it shows to me that they are pushing to get the new remod in for whack reasons. I care because I got banned from a 3rd party forum because I had a different opinion than the buddies there. I see a lot of rule breaking there but it is allowed since they are all friends I guess. If I have a different opinion I should be allowed to say it. What happened to freedom of speech? Isn't that why people start 3rd party forums so they can have more freedom to say what they want? If this person was so fair why didn't she say something when I got banned from there? She probably did say something but I bet it wasn't fair or nice. So if people all think they are going to bring the biased ways of running a forum in here it's wrong. That's why I care. I'm a member of the SL community, which makes my voice valid on the official forums. Even if it was an unofficial forum, it's hard to deny the power of my wicked solos. They make Santana weep. If you're arguing that only members of your clique over my clique should be allowed to oversee the SL community, then that I can understand and I salute your determination in the face of adversity. I'd offer a hug, but it would no doubt be an attempt to pacify the voice of the opposition so that the jackbooted FIC can advertise their quality wares without abatement. Internet Lawyer, images are not trademarked, they are copyrighted. Now go ahead and file a DMCA on it. I'll wait. Oh you can't. Not only do I also support Chance for resmod for having both an incredible sense of humor and an uncanny ability to remain impartial, I also think Chance should be on the presidential ticket with Stephen Colbert. Unlike some people actively promoting themselves who have barely been a part of this community and who are anything but partial, Chance is all about love and understanding. Not to mention, the avatar rocks.

Ofttimes Strife has commented he is faced with a lot of work, and as the admin of a small forum I can appreciate that. This thread should be about proposals for aditional resmods to lighten his load.. not for people to complain if someone has friends who think they'd make a good resmod. _____________________

I guess that makes it ok to use them without their permission. Actually, the use in that emoticon would fall under both fair use and also parody, since the symbol is being used to express WORD as an agreement to something, a colloquial use of the word, um, word. BTW, I would think your past transgressions of having a blog invading the privacy of SL users would invalidate you from being a resmod. Aside from the fact that you have barely participated in these forums, your complete disregard for the privacy of other SL residents makes you unqualified to be a resmod. _____________________

No that was the other thread where Strife asked for suggestions which is locked now. This thread was started to promote one person as a resmod. When you posted it you left it open for discussion.
