I completely support Chance to become a ResMod - and Desmond, for that matter. Since all the other resident moderators quit, I've never seen such inconsistent moderating of a forum in my many years of sharing my meaningless opinion over the Intarwebs arguing with strangers.

Third party forum comrades trying to get their buddy implanted as a resmod on the main forums? Classic! Notice that the thread starter and most if not all of the posters are all members of troublesome 3rd party forums.
This would be a mistake IMO. It's just going to bring the riff raff here and make them think it's ok to post rude comments and get their buddy to BAN people that they don't like. Not to mention sharing information with people who *think* they are better than other people and want to rule the interwebz. Strife and the other resmods are doing a good job here. Strife is impartial and does not have an agenda. Is there an agenda here with this request? I mean all you people are big posters at 3rd party forums. Things on these forums are nice. Why don't you people who want him to be a resmod here just make him a resmod on you own forums? What's the point of having one of your buddies be a resmod here? :word: |

I would love to be a ResMod and would be superb considering how hard I rock. Please take a moment to reflect on my past community activities: Original SL Forums -Status: ROCKED -Achievements: Increased power solos by 200%; turned Off-Topic into a personal rehearsal space complete with kickin' afterparties. Second Citizen -Status: ALT ROCK! -Achievements: Played avatars as instruments, harmonized with the bacchanal ether, synthesized opera out of pure orgone- mostly noob derived- worked behind the scenes to set the stage for future rocking. Unfortunately, the stage couldn't handle pushing the volume to 11 and collapsed under the weight of such raw alternative chops. SecondSurvivor -Status: ROCKIN' OLDIES -Achievements: Cultivated a badboy image to appeal to a younger market, while still spinning the hits of yesteryear to the oldbies in back holding up their lighters. Duchyofdarkmere -Staus: PURE METAL -Achievements: Erected a one av temple to the god of rock that rocks so hard it just might be parody... but maybe not. Maybe that's just how hard I rock. The old guard came there to rock but I rock so hard that when they pour their hearts out I shrug and express my love of Testudines. You gotta have a thick skin to rock this hard... Well buddy, let me tell you I've got a shell. Just because I have a sense of humor, that doesn't mean I'm not serious. I am completely serious. If you doubt how rockin' serious I am, review my resume. I just don't see anything here that qualifies a person to be a resmod. This could be any of the posters on any of those forums. I have a feeling that if they let this person be resmod, that the people from the other forums who are obviously his buddy will no longer have to follow the forums rules. Agenda. IMO |
